Stuffy nose and breastfeeding

I have a call in to my doc of course but just wondering if any breastfeeding mamas have had to take something for a stuffy nose? I cannot breathe! And therefore cannot sleep and therefore am a nightmare.

    I used Afrin nasal spray for bad head congestion with my first - it was sooo helpful.  It's rated L3 (moderately safe) and better than taking something orally.  https://kellymom.com/bf/can-i-breastfeed/meds/cold-remedy/#headcongestion

    I just took some loratadine and am sitting in the steamy bathroom. DH came home to take care of LO because the lack of sleep and breathing is actually giving me a panic attack :( No mom super powers here. It is legit man cold.

    Have you tried a neti pot or sinus rinse bottle? Those help me a lot. Vick's vapor rub is good too (I assume it's safe since it's topical, but I honestly don't know for sure).

    I tried a Nero pot and it got all in my ears and hurt like hell. I probably didn do it right but am skeptical to try again but thank you for your responses ended up taking Sudafed and Ativan and pumping and dumping because I was having a full blown panic attack. I'm doing a little better after 4 hours of sleep.
