Sunscreen 5.99

in July 2013 Moms
When is it OK to put sunscreen on their faces? LO started swim school last week and she can't exactly wear a hat since they go underwater. I worry about her little face burning up in the fierce Florida sun.

    I have been putting sunscreen on Ty's face and keeping a hat on him. I didn't know I shouldn't be??

    I put sunscreen on Aiden's face. My pedi said it was ok and much better than him burning.

    OK, good. I thought I remembered at her 9 month they said to avoid the face. I could be wrong. I feel like that was a long time ago.

    I don't think there's any reason you shouldn't put it on their face? I use a sunscreen stick for his face, it's easier than cream.

    I basically bathe her in sunscreen, since we practically glow under blacklight.

    At our 9 mo appt, the ped said use lots and lots of sunscreen when we go out. They didn't mention avoiding the face at all.

    I thought it was a Silence of the Lambs reference! And I'll just chime in that I put sunscreen on DD's face. I just avoid hands and feet since she'll put those in her mouth and I don't want her eating it.
