I have no labor buddy so I'm reporting on myself. My blood pressure was high at my appointment this afternoon so I was sent to L&D to be induced. My cervix is closed so I'm getting Cervadil. It could be a while! I'm nervous and excited! Thoughts and prayers are appreciated.
Update 1- I had a terrible night with Cervadil giving me too strong and too frequent of contractions. I threw up, got dilaudin and kept feeling terrible. Cervadil was removed and I was given terbuline to slow contractions. I did not sleep at all. Thankfully this morning I was at 4 so I got an epidural. I am now feeling great and getting ready to have baby today.
Update 2 - After laboring all day and pushing for over 3 hours, Norah Elise was born at 8:03 pm. 7 lbs 11 oz. 19 inches at 37 w 5 d. Mommy and baby are doing great. Picture of her on daddy's chest.

I had a long induction with my first, including a very long and painful night with cervadil. After about 24 hours I got the epi and then pitocin and I was super comfortable and progressed quickly from that point on and ended up with a really good experience. I hope yours is similar. Hang in there!
