OB in July if not preg

QOTW: Is H on the same page as you in regards to TTCAL?
yes. He is cute, always asking when I'm ovulating, if we should have sex...etc. It's hard though to see him disappointed when I get a BFN.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?
I want to be pregnant, dammit!!

Where are you in your TTCAL journey? CD 17, 2-3 DPO

Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming? Nope.

QOTW: Is H on the same page as you in regards to TTCAL? I think he's more cautious. He worries about having another loss and how it could affect me. But he wants a baby, so he's on board.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? Getting our house ready to sell by the beginning of July. Still so much to do, it's becoming daunting.

Where are you in your TTCAL journey? Cycle 3, CD8.

Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming? I got some scary results from CD3 bw, so I freaked out and made an appointment with an RE on June 20th.  After talking to my doctor's office again I think that the weird number was probably a fluke, but I'm keeping the appointment just in case.

QOTW: Is H on the same page as you in regards to TTCAL? Definitely.  He wants another baby as much as I do.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? Getting older, my birthday is on Saturday, and of course having more babies!

  • hi ladies...super late again but here!!!

where are you in your ttcal journey?  cd 17...no clue about dpo since opks aren't working for me and I decided to decline an ultrasound to pinpoint O this month since this has happened the past three cycles and I have definitely o'd.

do you have any relevant appts. upcoming?  nope.

QOTW: we are very much on the same page...he just doesn't get his hopes up as much and is always patient and hopeful.

Open topic: I already think I am out this month for no reason other than my opks havent been working...I'm either having super short surges or I am oing super super early (like before cd7- please tell me how unlikely this is)...if I am oing super early then we are without a doubt out because I was on my period and out of town away from dh until cd7.  I am so sick of being stressed and crazy over all of this.  I am debating taking next cycle off since we are going on vacation midcycle and I just want to drink and have fun and relax for once.  we will see...it would be really hard for me to actually go ahead with taking a cycle off.

  • Where are you in your TTCAL journey?  Still TTA

Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming?  Nope.

QOTW: Is H on the same page as you in regards to TTCAL?  He is, although I think I am more anxious to try again than he is, which is funny, because it was the other way around in the past. Although when I told him we are getting close to TTC time, he told me he was very excited (because of all the BDing, of course!).

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?   Just realizing that we are getting really close now to burning the bench!  Waiting a full year seemed like forever at first, and it has been hard to see many ladies here start trying and get pregnant again, and IRL as well, but it is exciting to see we are only a couple months, a couple cycles away, now.  Nerve-wracking too.

  • Where are you in your TTCAL journey?

    Cycle 2, CD23, DPO4

Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming? Not for now. We'll probably give it a few more months and then think about seeing someone. It took us over a year with our son. My midwife wonders if maybe I wasn't (or am not) ovulating every month.

QOTW: Is H on the same page as you in regards to TTCAL?

My husband told me about 3 months after our son died that he was ready whenever I was, but that he would wait until I was ready. He's never pushed, but is very excited to be trying again.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?

Torn with this huge desire to be pregnant again and have another baby, but terrified too. Not so much of the pregnancy, but of the baby. I've held my friends newborn on several occasions now. It is good to hold her, but I'm just so terrified that she is going to stop breathing in my arms the whole time I'm holding her.

Christopher's due date is this Sunday and also the day I will be ovulating... I am not looking forward to this day but I hope some good can come out of it. I should not be trying for a baby on the day I should be having one :(

  • Where are you in your TTCAL journey? CD 17... Waiting to O

Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming? Just a HSG at the beginning of next cycle if this cycle doesn't bring us a baby!

QOTW: Is H on the same page as you in regards to TTCAL? Yes! He's not nearly as consumed by it as I am, but he definitely wanted to try soon after Mary passed.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? I am so over the rollercoaster of CD 1-10 beyond so disappointed, sad and defeated, CD 11-20 getting my game face on and trying so hard to catch O, CD 20-?? so hopeful and feeling like "yes! This is it!" Only to redo it all over again. It's all so exhausting!
  • I hear yah @schulme2‌ . Ttc is a Mf, just a different type during different parts of your cycle. I actually do ok from period until about 5 days before o. Slight relief once I do o the obsession comes in!

  • shandorfml2jessicamathew  @GymSpaz26  Lots of luck to you ladies in the TWW!  Fingers crossed for you.

I have a TTC dilemma right now.  I have been tracking my cycle just to see where I am with it and it looks like I am likely ovulating today or very soon.  I can't decide whether to go for it or to continue waiting.  I am 11 weeks out from my loss, but haven't had a period yet.  My doctor's have given me the go ahead for whenever I'm ready to try.  Originally, I wanted more than anything to try right away, but now that time is here I am panicking.  I'm having so much anxiety about going down this road again.

However, if we wait a cycle (provided I got pregnant, which obviously is no guarantee) my dates would be very similar to Juliana's and I'm not sure I can handle such a similar time frame.  Waiting longer than than to try is probably not an option.

So....from your experience is this anxiety just something that would happen any time we decide to go for it or do you think it's an indication that I need some more time?  Obviously I know that only I can really answer this question, but I wondering about your experiences.

  • Anxiety is normal, especially your first time ttcal. I tried right away too. Though if your really anxious, you could wait for your first cycle. Might be best physically and emotionally

  • Where are you in your TTCAL journey? CD2 :(

Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming? Notta

QOTW: Is H on the same page as you in regards to TTCAL? Yeah. Every now and again he'll make a comment about how "perfect life is right now" but we had a little chat about it. I explained that another pg is going to be full of anxiety and I need him to be with me 100% or we shouldn't be trying at all. He's all in :)

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? The brutal cycle I just had. I spotted for 7 days leading up to AF. At 7dpo I got excited that it could be implantation bleeding, but then it turned to red spotting and I was reminded of the 4 weeks of similar spotting I had before my ectopic was discovered. Finally yesterday she reared her ugly head. I have no idea what was up but I hope it's not repeated this cycle.

Married August 20th, 2005 to the love of my life.

1st BFP August 6th, 2010. Missed MC discovered at 13 weeks.

    2nd BFP January 5th, 2011. Beautiful Harper born September 28th, 2011.

3rd BFP March 15th, 2013. Treated with methotrexate for ectopic pg at 7 weeks.

4th BFP August 2nd, 2013. Sweet Micah born sleeping at 21 weeks with full T13. 5th BFP July 1st, 2014. Praying for a healthy, full term rainbow!
