Birth Announcements- is it too late?

Brooke is 5 wks today. Is it too late to order and send out announcements? I totally forgot about them- I was finishing sending out thank yous from our shower.

I was wondering the same them. Mine is 4 weeks today. We did a FB announcement, but I love real announcements. By the time we order and it ships and we send them out he might be 6 weeks? Idk I guess it's not too late?
What did everyone else do?

I just ordered mine and LO is 2 weeks. We have gotten so many gift after he was born that I hope to write a nice note on the back of some of the announcements to express how grateful we are.

I just got mine in the mail and DD will be 5 weeks on friday. It took 2 weeks to get our NB pics back so I couldn't have gotten them sooner!

I didn't send mine out until he was about six weeks. He didn't get his newborn photos done until he was almost three weeks old.

Mine won't go out until DD is at least 4 weeks since I'm waiting for her newborn pics.

DD is 6 weeks old and they haven't gone out yet. I've had them back for almost 2 weeks, but I haven't found the time to address them all. I really need to get it done this week!

I feel like any time within the first 12 weeks is completely fine! People love baby announcements and more so, people are more impressed with the fact that you actually found the time to get the announcement together and sent out with a newborn! So I think you're golden.

My LO is 3w4d, and I don't even have a photo to use yet for announcements! I still plan on doing them though, we did get some photos taken so we just need to pick a picture, get the digital copy, and then I can order announcements. I'll be happy if I have them mailed by the time LO is 6w or so.

Dd is 7 weeks on Tuesday and shutterfly doesn't have them shipping out till next Saturday. So nope never too late.

Not spamming - but I own a business making invitations and announcements. I get parents placing orders when their babies are as old as 10-12 weeks! The average seems to be 2-6 weeks.
Heck, one time I had someone order at 7 months!! Months!!!
