Who does she think she is?

I just got an invite over fb for a baby shower. She is requesting specific items, and telling her guest where to get them.
For example, cloth diapers at a local cloth diaper store, or gifts cards there. A Petunia pickle bottom diaper bag, and gift cards to one of her several baby registries.
She's hosting her own shower, and she already has 4 kids!

Idk, I suppose I'm in a mood today but this makes me stabby! I feel like she's being greedy! I was gonna get her a nice gift basket, but now I don't even want to.

I probably won't even go to get event now.

Seriously though, who asks for expensive specific items? Am I the only one who finds this to be rude?

    That does sound rude. I got an invite for a Meet and Greet for a second baby. She attached info and said the brand of diapers and formula they use and "thanks".

    I didn't go.. But I wouldn't have anyways. We aren't close. She did a public facebook event. Plus, yesterday she asked who wanted to come to her DDs 3 birthday.. In September.. For she could rent the hall.

    Yeah, I think by the time you have 4 kids, I wouldnt think you would need to throw an entire shower and/or expect anyone to get you anything. Maybe something small but not expensive.

    We're going to have a Meet the Baby for LO#2 in October. But its not going to be a full blown shower and I definitely dont expect any gifts.

    Is her 4th far removed in age from the others?  I would assume not.  Not sure if I find this rude or kind of selfish.  I do understand about the cloth diapers thought as I use them and can be hard to find unless at a special store or specific store website.  Especially when you are using a certain kind.

    I use cloth diapers too, and they are expensive to start out, plus what I may get her she may not like, or they don't work for her baby.
    The request for an expensive diaper bag is absurd IMHO! She's got several gift registries, why feel the need to request specific items, if you can just add them to the registries?
    Her last baby is 3. She gave all her stuff away thinking she wasn't going to have more, just for the following month to decide she wasn't done and got pregnant right away.
