So that just happened....

My co-worker and I came back from lunch, and there was a person on the side of the street with some Walmart sacks and one on their head (bc it is raining). So I came inside grabbed a spare and went back outside in the rain to offer it to them. I walked down the street and met up with him (who I thought was a she btw but whatever!!). I said “hi would you like an umbrella I have an extra!!” He very gruffly said no and walked pass me. I then had to do the walk of shame back to work behind the man with the sack on his head….

 

And that is the last nice thing I do for humanity today…

    I could see that. I was just thinking "it's pouring rain take the umbrella..." nothing else.

    I could understand this but the least you could say is thank you for someone who's trying to help you.

    There should be no shame in accepting charity from someone.
