FTM Question - 15 Weeks

Hi Everyone,

I keep wanting to post more on here but well, pesky work gets in the way! However, as a FTM this is really helpful and fun to read what other's are experiencing and learn from women have done this before!

So, my question is; is it possible I am feeling the baby moving at 15 weeks?  I have been having "weird" (vague I know) feelings in the lower abdomen region and it will start one one side and then I will feel it on the other. I am wondering if I am just getting overly excited or maybe just having gas :\">

I am starting to feel more pregnant now too since although everyone swears I don't look pregnant... I see that bump. The one that stays even when I suck it in :D

Sorry if these questions have been asked before!

Re: FTM Question - 15 Weeks

  • If it feels like a flutter or maybe popping, then it's probably the baby :) you can feel them this early, for sure!

  • hard to say for sure as every woman's body is so different and this is your first...but I would say it absolutely could be baby ur feeling! I am 15 weeks tomorrow and felt the baby this past weekend moving:)) I'm on baby #3..so i definitely know the feeling;)  Babe often moves more when you are still..so if that's when ur feeling "weird" feelings..there's a pretty good chance i'd say;)
  • Mine felt like gas bubbles (flutters) when I first started feeling with DS.  I believe I was around 15 wks, as well. :)

  • That's a good question. I'm a FTM at 15 weeks, too, but don't think I've felt any movement. I'm convinced that one of my babies was kicking my bladder the other night, though. It was weird, I would have the feeling like I needed to pee, and then it would be gone (for the most part). And then all of a sudden I'd have to pee again. It was the weirdest darn thing.

(Should clarify incase you can't see siggys that I'm having twins.)

  • Every once in awhile I will feel a flutter in my lower abdomen. I feel this is the baby. This has been happening since around 14 weeks, I am currently at 16 weeks. Gas is usually in my upper stomach.
  • You could be! I did my first pregnancy When I first felt dd it was like a fish swirling around. You'll know soon enough!

I'm a FTM and have an anteverted uterus, and I actually started feeling the flutters before 13 weeks. It was a really weird wiggly feeling. At our 13 week ultrasound, I had the tech confirm that the location where I was feeling it was where the baby was. The feelings have turned from wiggles to pops and have slowly moved around and up and have gotten stronger. It is the most amazing feeling. :D

ETA: I am now 18w1d, in case you're on mobile and can't see my sig.
