Re: If you've left your baby with someone
Baby Girl Born: April 2014
If you ask me what I came to do in this world, I, an artist, I will answer you:
We've had one date so far and left her with his mom. Can't wait for round two.
BFP#2 7/28/13 EDD 4/9/14 Birthday : 4/10/14 Adalyn Nanette
Tomorrow I will be leaving her with the nanny who will care for her while I work and I am really nervous. I will be farther away (at a dr's appt) and gone for about 2 hours.
Natural miscarriage @ 8 weeks - 3/8/2005
Big Brother "Skippy" born - 2/28/2007
Missed miscarriage - (EDD 3/5/2013) - D&E @ 11 weeks - 8/8/2012
"Hen" (EDD 6/7/2013) - born sleeping @ 19 weeks - 1/15/2013
"G-Unit" born - 4/14/2014 and he's 100% perfection!!
My dad will take them on walks when I am showering or pumping too.
@MamaFantastic i wish I could leave for 2 hours without leaving a bottle. B always seems to want a snack while I'm gone, no matter what time of day.
I've left her with my 2 best friends to attend weddings and with my MIL to go out one night.

This is what pumps and bottles are for. Those who can't or won't leave their kid with DH is just sad. DH is every bit if a parent as I am.
Anyway, I have left her with my mom, my MIL, my sister, and today with a friend while I got a pedicure. The longest I have left was for three hours, and my husband was home with her. That's the only time she needed a bottle, but I always make sure whoever is watching her knows how to grab and use something from the freezer stash if necessary. I try to make it home before they would need to deal with that, though. I haven't been worried or felt bad for getting out alone - I love it, but also love coming home for more cutie baby snuggles.
And I absolutely agree with PPs, when she's home with daddy he's not "watching" her, that's just part of being a family. Nothing drives me more crazy than dads who say they are babysitting their kids. Huge TP to that noise!
We disagree on a few things...
