Cervix length

Hello ladies. I see some ladies post regularly about their cervix shortening or being checked. I am 16 weeks and I don't think my OB has ever checked mine. When does that normally start?

I'm 29 and DH is 32 we have a MFI (low count) 
IVF #1 starting in August. ER 9/5/13 23 eggs we are fertilizing 15. 9 frozen
ET 9/10 - transferred 1 perfect 5AA blast
7dp5dt BFP ~~ Beta on 9/19 - 77.4 Beta #2 on 9/21 - 357
Low heartbeat on 10/7 86, lower heartbeat on 10/11 76, no heartbeat 10/14/13. D&C 10/15/13
Tests revealed MTHFR c677t mutation, put on Folgard.

    I got a check at my "yup, your pregnant" appt along with pap and labs. Last time no other checks til delivery. ..m/c not full term. So if you dont have a reason for a check, they usually dont early on, but some ladies have had incompetent cervix in the past...

    I noticed mine was measured during NT scan. Don't know about further down the road.

    It was mentioned at my 20 week anatomy scan

    Off BC, NTNP since June 2011

    Started acupuncture/herbs July 2012 

    First BFP 9-8-2012,EDD 5-15-2013, heartbeat of 175 at 8w2d, mmc discovered on 10-26-12 (11w6d) Cytotec on 10/26/12

    8/23/13 DX with non-IR PCOS

    Second BFP 9.12.13, EDD 5.29.14, heartbeat of 114 at 6w1d, mmc discovered on 10-18-13, D&C on 10/23/13 (baby girl/Trisomy 10) 

    Third BFP (surprise at Beta draw after d&c) on 1/10/14 (15dpo), EDD 9.20.14 Please be our RAINBOW!

    I did kot have the nt scan because I did the MaterniT21 test. I suppose that it will get measured at my a/s. Thanks ladies!

    My MFM measured it at 21 weeks, because I felt like he was falling out.  Everything was fine, he just likes to cuddle my cervix, I guess...

    I went in special at 16 weeks just to check cervical length, but I had my A/S yesterday and she looked at it again. My guess is they'll check yours at 20-ish weeks during your A/S.

    They did a pap and visual check of my cervix at my first prenatal at 12 weeks. They said they'd check the length at the a/s. I will be having regular u/s thereafter because I'm having twins, but I don't think they'll specifically measure the cervix unless there is reason.
