Hello all. I'm new to this whole thing and I need advice on ways to combat the fatigue. I've never thought of a nap so many times during the day in my life. Its all I want to do. I'm 5 weeks today
I'm 5 weeks today as well, I feel the same way. If I have time I just take a quick cat nap even if it's for 45 mins it helps a lot. I cannot wait for it to go away
I started acupuncture about 4 weeks ago and feel that it has really helped with fatigue, circulation, my skin, etc etc. My last 2 pregnancies I was exhausted this early on and had awful skin, but this time is different. It could just be that this pregnancy is different in general....or maybe the acupuncture really helps!
I've been going to acupucnture for a little over a month ago - I'm seriously exhausted this week though. I'm going to mention the exhaustion to my acupuncturist next time I go - I hope it helps! Falling asleep at my desk over here.
I felt like I was in a coma until 12 weeks last time. And then again when I hit like 33 weeks. This time it hasnt really hit me yet.... maybe I am use to being tired all the time now, lol. I am having insomnia this time though, so that stinks!

Yep! I am similar to this. I remember last time being so tired. But this time it hasn't hit me yet. I have to assume I'm just used to it. DS is a horrible sleeper!
I'm exhausted! I also cant seem to go back to sleep if someone wakes me up. My 4 year old comes and climbs in bed for snuggles and then im wide awake! I'm averaging 5 hours a sleep a night. Ugh!
Good thing is this usually gets better by 2nd trimester

Strange thing is I feel well rested when I wake up. I'm even up before my alarm some mornings but shortly after I feel super drowsy like I haven't slept all week. I hope I don't look the way I feel...
I feel the same....I think my husband thinks I'm being dramatic but im tired all day and I go to sleep so early....I was looking up things to help yesterday and it was certain foods and taking naps when you can. I try to take a hour nap everyday but I wake up more grouchy because it want long enough... so I decided if an hour was all that I would get I wouldn't take it at all but now I end up going to sleep at 7 or 8. I told my husband I needed to only work part-time because im so tired. Lol
Fatigue is normal especially in the 1st Tri... If it gets unusual or seems worrisome, you may want to check with your Dr. I was unusually tired in my last pregnancy and I was actually anemic.
Hey ladies. Congrats to all. Im about 6 weeks now and I jus cant ger enough sleep. I actually slept all day today and got up feeling more tired than before.I need a way to combat this lol helpppp
Re: Simply TIRED
I really don't know that there's much to do to combat the fatigue other than to sleep more.
