I just saw this mentioned in another post and wanted to ask for your input on it. Anyone have it? Do you recommend it? Any feedback you've got is appreciated! :-)
I have it. I like reading about the different leaps but I don't know if I can say my baby is particularly difficult or particularly easy when it says she should be.

I don't think it's worth it. You can find the same info online for free. All it does is give you a little ticker to show if your baby is supposed to be in a stormy period or not and a brief blurb on that leap.
Mama to a little girl born July 2011 and a little boy born April 2014!
I tried googling it before buying it because I didn't feel like spending money on it but was unable to find specific info that is in the app. It's interesting but not really that worth it IMO
The Sprout baby app on the other hand, my hubs and I can't live without! It tracks all naps, feedings, diapers, and growth and milestones, etc. Very handy when two sleep deprived people are sharing baby duties. "When did he eat last?" Without keeping track on my phone my answer would be "uhhh..."
I've found it not to be totally accurate in timing of when DS should go through the leap, but when he does (usually 4-5 days after the app says he should) his behaviors are pretty spot on to what the app says. It's nice to know what's likely coming in a few days. Worth the $1.99 in my opinion.
I agree with pp. I think it's kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy to a point. You expect certain days to be more difficult and they are. And sometimes I'm sure those difficult days probably do align with developmental leaps. Coincidence? Every baby is different, and although they all develop the same skills and abilities, they don't necessarily develop on the same timeline.

I didn't know about the wonder weeks until several months/leaps in with DS, and then it was like a light bulb. I definitely noticed in my M12 group that a LOT of the babies went through wonder weeks at roughly the same time, and it made me a believer.
I don't use the app like a countdown and assume that she's going to turn into a lunatic at the stroke of midnight. I appreciate the information and it helps to keep me calmer to understand that she's just going through a rough period and needs me more than usual.
This exactly! I also like knowing what new mental developments are happening with my LO. So far it's been pretty accurate for me. He's definitely in the second leap (much needier than normal). I like the info it provides because it tells me what I could be seeing at that point (ie. baby discovers his hands...which he is definitely doing!) But like PP said, I know it may be a little off and that doesn't bother me.
I agree with ColleenSwerb - I don't expect it to be accurate to the day but it is nice to know what developments my LO is going through and also when she is fussy/difficult it helps me keep perspective that she is going through an adjustment period and the change is hopefully temporary. I don't think you necessarily have to have it, but I find it interesting.

All of these! And I'm with @dani+california - I'm lazy and like the app!
Those of you using it: did you put in due date (as suggested) or birth date? I've heard conflicting reports....
I tried both because the due date one seemed totally off and my daughter was born 4 weeks early. The timeline for her birthdate wasn't any better. I really didn't notice anything different about her during the supposed leaps for either one. Maybe I just have a super chill baby! Honestly, though, I've definitely noticed when she's going through growth spurts. The WWs seems kind of like snake oil IME.
I also used the due date. She was born a week early and so far the timing was accurate for the first leap. It was helpful to realize the changes she was going through and why she was acting the way she was.
