I'm 7 weeks right now but have been bleeding since yesterday. The first one appeared bright red, looked like what they call "passing tissue"? Now I'm feeling the cramps and backache just like how I would feel when I have my AF. I didn't have any pregnancy symptoms except for sore breasts, which is gone now. I called Kaiser and no doctor can even see me, they sent me to do blood work and said they can't do an US this early in the pregnancy. I didn't want to tell any of my friends and family until I'm far along in my pregnancy because I had a MC 2 years ago. My first OB appt is supposed to be on June 16, but I guess that won't be happening anymore. If I take a PT now, would it say not pregnant if I believe I miscarried? Worried and losing hope fast!
Re: Is this MC?
why can't a doctor see you? I mean I wouldn't be rushing to the er or anything, but I would hope you could see an OB. You can definitely have an u/s this early, especially if it is medically necessary to confirm. At 7 weeks if they do a transversal u/s they should see a little bean with a HB.
i'm confused.

Hope everything works out for you! A lot of people experience bleeding early on, so there is hope. Keep your fingers crossed and try not to stress until you get some answers
Bleeding & passing tissue doesn't sound very good, but there is no way to know. All you can do is wait until your appointment.
A pregnancy test might still test positive at this stage. Even if you're miscarrying HCG levels don't automatically go to zero. It would not be a reliable indicator of your status aside from confirming you are pregnant or have enough hormone to turn a test.
I'm sorry. Wishing you a good outcome.

Unfortunately I don't think passing tissue is a good sign. When I had a MC there was bright red blood when I wiped and then it was like my period had started. Cramps, bleeding, tissue, etc. My cramps got gradually worse until everything had cleared out. Then they stopped almost completely and there was just light bleeding.
I do know that a HPT won't tell you anything. I had a questionable US afterwards (they wanted to make sure everything cleared) and I had to keep taking tests until everything zero'd out and I was back to negative. It took like 6 or 7 weeks to get there. I think the only think you can do is get blood drawn to see how high your levels are.
I am so sorry to hear about your current situation. I went through a MC 2 months ago at 6 weeks. My symptoms were red blood that got pregressively worse, cramping, lower back pain and then passing of clots. The only true way to tell if you are actually having the miscarriage is with blood test. They can do an ultrasound to look for the SAC but the HCG decreasing over the next 24-48 hours is the real indicator if you are losing the baby.
Fingers crossed you are not having a MC, I would definetly try to get in for some blood work asap.
good luck.
