Hi,

I am not good at these, but here it goes!!

My name is Melissa and I am 35, my hubby is 37. We were married in May 2013 and began actively ttc in March. ( I went off BCP yrs ago) Because of some health issues( hubby ED, me MS ) and our age I scheduled an appointment with a fertility doctor. We went for our first appt Mid May and he was so nice. He did a pelvic U/S and then sent me for a HSG the same day. During the HSG we found out that both of my tubes are blocked. He was so sweet after he had to tell me the news and said " if your eggs are good and your hubby has one good sperm I will get you a baby". So right now we are waiting on my hubby's SA results. All my blood work came back good with all normal levels.( so that is good right) I have to call them on cycle day 1, and I will go in on cycle day 3 to have my eggs checked. Not sure what else will happen, I am guessing I will find out more at my next appointment. what the next step is in this TTC phase. Waiting to go back is killing me, I just want to know what we have to do, and how we are going to do it. I am looking forward to getting to know you all, and gaining for you all your information and strength.

I'm sorry about your tubes. I hope that time flies by while you're waiting to get the rest of your answers. Having a plan is a huge relief, I think, so I hope you get one soon. Best of luck.

Sounds like you found an excellent RE! Hope everything comes back ok and that your stay here is short and sweet. I understand that being patient is one of the hardest things to do but it will be worth the wait in the long run. Good luck!
