How far along are you? 23 weeks

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? passed loss milestone. My next appt is in 3 weeks. I think I start my NST's shortly after that.

Any pregnancy symptoms or pregnancy cravings or aversions?
I am so hungry lately, I want to eat everything

QOTW:  What are your plans for preparing a nursery for your LO? Baby will sleep in my room for awhile.   Did you have a nursery prepared for your lost LO? No, I was planning on getting that ready and buying clothes when I found out the gender instead I found out she was gone.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? I have a lot of anxiety. My mom bought the baby something and I just cringed. It took everything in me to remain calm and reassure myself that buying something for the baby is not going to jinx us.

EDITED because I am forgetful lucy..

@jonahsma‌ - congrats on passing your loss milestone! I know that doesn't guarantee anything, but I'm sure that was a tough week just the same. ((Hugs)).

DS1 born 6/5/10 at 40 weeks via emergency c-section due to fetal distress and IUGR caused by placental insufficiency
DS2 born still 8/28/13 at 32 weeks via emergency c-section due to a complete placental abruption - cause unknown
Baby #3 on the way, EDD 2/29/16.  Originally twins, but we said goodbye to Baby B at 8 weeks.
  • Currently 7 weeks.

3rd scan on Tuesday before being released to the OB.

No real cravings, but pork chops are once again the enemy, and all sweets are my friends.

As for prepping a nursery, we had not prepped a nursery for our lost twins because we were living in a one bedroom apt. Now we are in a two bedroom and we have no immediate plans to set up the second bedroom for this little sparkly. Not really thinking about that right now.

What is on my mind, is that at this point I don't feel super excited, which I feel horribly guilty about. DH is actually more excited than I am, and I also feel weird about that.
On 10/23/13 Baby Sophie and Baby Gabriel born at 21+5 weeks. They grew wings and flew away from us. May God bless them always. We love you beans!

How far along are you? Today I am 12 weeks along

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones?
I have been having weekly U/S due to the blood clot found in my uterus. But overall baby is doing well.

QOTW:  What are your plans for preparing a nursery for your LO?  Did you have a nursery prepared for your lost LO? I will not be preparing a nursery space for rainbow baby until baby is home. I will have the essential needed but as actually decorating a nursery I am too scared. Elizabeth shared a room with her big sis, theme was & still is Fairies, I haven't changed it since then.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?
Nervous, sometimes I over think things that shouldn't even be in my head. I just want to make it to the end & bring home a rainbow baby.

  • Can I jump in?  It's terrifying to say 'out loud' that I am pregnant, but I am crossing my fingers and toes that this little soul stays with us.

How far along are you?  I am 11w3d

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones?  My next appt isn't until the 18th.  3 weeks between seems like an eternity.

Any pregnancy symptoms or pregnancy cravings or aversions?  My belly feels giant already. I weigh about 20 lbs less than I did when I got pregnant with Jesse so I am smaller, but I feel like I look enormous.  I've been having some tightness/pulling and general soreness since my surgery-  had a TAC placed about 2 wks ago.  Pain related to that and scary pain are hard to differentiate :/

QOTW:  What are your plans for preparing a nursery for your LO?  Did you have a nursery prepared for your lost LO?  We moved into our house last month, so we have some renovating to do.  The room that will hopefully be a nursery needs to have carpet ripped up and wood put down, and needs to be re-painted so we will be working on it sooner rather than later.  I am terrified to call it a nursery though- I keep telling myself we would be renovating that room whether I was pregnant or not.

Open Topic. I've been thinking of Jesse a lot more frequently- since we moved, we don't have a 'special' place for his things right now.  we have his urn on our dresser, but I really need to find a place to put his blanket, candles, memory box etc.  They are all packed away right now :/

  • @kz's_girlygirl‌ - I am so excited for you! Congratulations!

I can totally relate to the concerns with moving - we bought a new house (escrow closed yesterday) and are in the process of getting the house ready and getting moved. It was so hard on pack up all of Colton's things and know that we are leaving that house. We also have a room that might someday be "the nursery" and I keep finding myself too nervous to call it that.

  • How far along are you? 28 weeks 1 day

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? I feel like I always have appointments. I'm down to every 2 weeks now, plus throw in the MFM appointments and growth scans every 3 weeks. This little girl has a lot of people looking after her!

Any pregnancy symptoms or pregnancy cravings or aversions?  I am getting to the point where my back and hips hurt by the end of the day. Otherwise, I feel good.

QOTW:  What are your plans for preparing a nursery for your LO?  Did you have a nursery prepared for your lost LO?  Our nursery was all ready to go for our son and we didn't know he would be a boy so the nursery was neutral. It's been empty and I am just so ready to use it.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? I feel relief because everything seems to be getting better. We had been told the baby had a velamentous cord at the anatomy scan, but at my latest ultrasound the techs decided it actually is connected to the placenta. I also failed my 1 hour glucose test and was stressing about a GD diagnosis, but I passed the 3 hour. Some of our worries have lifted now, but it's still scary to get closer to the end and have last time in the back of our heads.

  • Can I just ask (now that I've had time to think), what is your protocol with your ob's? Are you considered 'high risk'? Should I request an MFM? I have my first OB appt next week and I don't know how to go about this now.  :-S

My OB set up an appointment for me with an MFM after our 12 week appointment as a consult. It made me feel better to talk to the MFM in person even though my loss history doesn't make me high risk but I did want to hear that from her. It couldn't hurt to get a consult with an MFM doctor just to get his/her opinion on how things should be handled with this pregnancy.
