Whoops- c-section. ECV was not successful a few weeks ago.
Good luck tomorrow! Are you feeling ready? I should probably remember who has had what so far, but I'm terrible with names on here :-)
No worries I'm feeling about as ready as I can be. I'm nervous about post-surgery. One nice thing about having a set date is that I'm able to make sure the house is clean, fridge is stocked, etc. Today just needs to hurry up!
Yes, good luck @elsa1688! You'll get to meet your baby soon!
I had a successful version yesterday at 37+5 weeks), and although I'm pretty sore today, I'm thankful that the little guy cooperated. Now, as long as he stays head down, we'll be in business!
@MollySm, did/do you have a breech baby too? (I'm terrible with remembering too, so please forgive me if I've missed your prior posts.)
@Rkfishy - She was breech before I suggested starting this check-in awhile ago, and then she actually flipped the next week. It seemed like people were still interested, so I try and post it on Wednesdays anyway, even though I don't have much to add.
Congratulations on your version being successful! FX he stays head down! I'm 37+5 today and so far the little miss seems to be sticking with the plan.
@elsa1688 - I'm sure the last day is a little nervewracking. I hope the rest of the day flies by!
I found out baby boy was breech last week and he still is this week.
At this point, I'm not planning on doing an ECV, my OB recommended against it (don't really know his reasoning, as I had just found out I was breech and didn't know anything about them). I joined the check-in last week and @pinkchloe mentioned not being a candidate for an ECV due to her anterior placenta, so maybe that's why (I have one, too)? But my OB actually retired at the end of last week (sucks, because he was awesome), so I see a different doctor at the practice tomorrow and I'll ask her about it.
My husband thinks I should try acupuncture or the webster technique, but do you generally need more than one session for that? By the time I can get even one appointment for either, it might be too late anyway. I just don't really know what I want, I guess. Actually, I do, I want this baby to turn without me having to do anything :P
