I lifted something maybe about 30 pounds. It was heavier than DD and I definitely felt the strain. Ive been feeling a lot pressure really low since then (I did it about an hour ago).
Are you on a lifting restriction, or just trying to take it easy?
I've been getting BH every time I overexert myself, or get too hot, or don't drink enough water. I personally would just be super careful the rest of the day and baby yourself a bit, but if you're worried...there's no reason not to give the nurse line a call to ease your mind. Feel better!

I've done that a few times with groceries and luggage, and also felt some straining/mildly painful sensations afterwards. They eventually passed, probably within a few hours. Also, keep in mind some pregnant women work in jobs where they're lifting fairly heavy things on a regular basis. I think it all depends on what you're used to and your pregnancy, but my doc didn't really put any restrictions on me in terms of lifting things.
All that said, if it were me, I'd take it easy and call the nurse or doctor, just for peace of mind. Remember too that you're probably anxious now and concentrating on the pain, which can definitely make it feel worse since you're more aware of it.
Thanks ladies! I called and they said that I probably overdid and aggravated the muscles. It is definitely more weight than Im used to lifting and it was at an awkward angle. They said to rest today and keep an eye on discharge and if it gets worse. My back is hurting worse and Im feeling nauseous now but we will see how it goes the rest of the day.
I did the same thing yesterday and felt a lot of pressure and tightness before bed. Woke up this morning and all felt ok. Guess it's just our body's way of tell us we need to take it easy (even if we think we're fine).
I lift my toddler everyday and she is about 40lbs. If I'm over doing it carrying her too much my body lets me know. I'm sure you are fine, just take it easy the rest of the day and listen to your body. Also it was probably more of the awkwardness I'm lifting you mentioned than the weight. 30lbs isn't much even if you aren't used to it. Hope you feel better soon!
I own a cleaning service. I'm lifting and pulling somewhat heavy stuff all day, but I was used to that and had the muscle conditioning pre-prego. My dr told me that by the end of pregnancy it's recommended that pregos make a 40% reduction in the amount they lift pre-pregnancy (which was over 50 lbs for me) This weekend, I tried to drive a golfball. I didn't go crazy but it was not a rangle of motion I'm used to. I pulled something. Felt like worse than normal round ligament pain. I didn't do too much lifting or bending (or golf club swinging!) for the rest of the weekend. I was fine by Monday, but I did finally go buy the belly/back support brace my dr recommended I get since I do what I do for a living.
Are you on a weight restriction? I wouldn't think anything of lifting 30 lbs, DS is probably close to that and I still lift/carry him everyday. I'll admit, I even lift our 46 lb bulldog to get her arse into the car...
I would just take it easy, drink some water and relax.

I'm a professional organizer and often do a lot if lifting , so at my last appointment I asked my doctor if I should take any precautions. He said that that I don't have to worry so much about the lifting, to use common sense and that there really isn't evidence to show that heavy lifting can result in loss if pregnancy. He said I just don't want to put myself in a position for anything to fall on me. So it's definitely worth getting your own doctors opinion about, but I wanted to share since I just asked mine a similar question.
Re: I just did something really stupid...
