Swollen Feet

My swollen feet are killing me, I sit all day at work at a desk, I've tried compression stockings which are great from the ankle up but my feet look like swollen sausages! Help! Has anyone found good compression socks for feet?

Of course it has to be summer too for my biggest part of my pregnancy, and I'm not a small person to begin with, I am trying to make life as comfortable as I can.

I can't really put my feet up at work, but I think a nice tight compression sock that works on my feet would be fabulous!

Thanks everyone!

Re: Swollen Feet

  • I bought those same ones! Fabulous for my legs, but not my feet, its like the compression starts at my ankle and my feet still swell, I've never had this issue before. This is my first baby and I'm going crazy!

  • A good acupuncturist can deflate your ankles overnight.  They should not puff up again.  It is friggin' magical.  (My ankles started to swell in the early spring with my last pregnancy...  but after the treatment, I had skinny ankles every day to follow till I delivered that hot night in August.)

As soon as I see any sign of edema this time, I will get myself to my Chinese doctor's office immediately.  She always says that swollen ankles and feet in pregnancy are ridiculously easy for her to fix.   Don't suffer!
