I have my 40 week appointment at 3:30 today following a fluid u/s. I'm pretty sure I'm at the same dilation and effacement as last week and doubt baby has dropped at all. My doctor is likely going to want induce me but I prefer to wait another week since my due date is tomorrow. Give her a little more time to decide to come on her own.

3:30 pm EST. 39 week appt (he's in surgery tomorrow and wanted it to be in the beginning of the week due to low fluid levels last time). Doing a AFI and a NST. If fluid levels are too low, discussion about induction.

This is probably not the most popular opinion, but I wouldn't be opposed to it at this point. Having averaged 1-1.5 hours of sleep per night for going on 2 weeks…..I'm worried I'm not going to be able to have the energy to actually go through the process of bringing him into the world. I can't wait for this to be over! I feel like an awful person saying that but I honestly am so done…

I'm sure some of you are probably feeling the same way… kind of makes me feel like a bad person though

39+ appointment today at 4:30 EST. Likely won't do a cervix check or anything. I'm feeling pretty okay, so we'll just go with the flow unless my OB has any other concerns.

Waiting for my 39 week appt now. Even though I won't be 39 weeks till Thursday, I've been really swollen and blood pressure was a little high so they wanted to check again early this week. I'm seeing the only dr in the practice that I'm not a fan of, hoping she won't do a cervical check because I've heard she can be a little rough.

Just got back from my 38 week appt (a day early but I work Wednesdays so it almost never works to do my appts on my actual week change), 3cm dilated, 60% effaced and -2 station, exact same as last week. I don't mind not progressing as long as I don't magically close back up lol. My OB said that if I wanted to do a membrane sweep that she would be willing to do it once I reach 39 weeks and not a day earlier so it looks like a Wednesday appt for me next week.

I have my 37 week appt today. Hoping to see some change. Was 2cm 60% effaced last week. I've been having contractions for the past 5 days. .

39 week apt this am. HB was good and high risk Dr. suggested I let my OB check me so I did and a wopping 1.5 with about 50%. She and I both would prefer to just go into labor and not be induced so she told me to get walking this weekend. I have my fluid check on Friday where the high risk dr. she said will most likely recommend induction next week. I am going to pick berries and walk like crazy on Sat - shew I am tired just thinking about it.

nst today that went well. didnt have any contractions so they said i will likely be back again. during ultrasound the tech said, "wow he is right on your pubic bone, must be painful". yup!

Did the strep test today and now I'm back on anti nausea medication because my "morning" sickness has kicked back in full force again. Baby is head down and moving in the right direction but doesn't look like she will be here soon but we shall see.

Cervix is still thick and closed. OB said she suspects to see me again next week lol. Poop. 38weeks 2 days. I have a feeling I am going to be making it past my due date of June 15th.
OB said it was "odd" that I was having low blood sugar symptoms with a normal blood sugar range.
My BP was 92/58 which I thought was low? But she said it was normal.
Gained 2lbs in one week. That sucks.

Idk I feel like my body is having a hard time adjusting to everything and it is just going crazy at this point.

had my bpp done today- eavie looks great, still measuring on or ahead of schedule. fluid levels were the highest i have ever had with my three pregnancies (yay!) and she weighs about 6lbs. she is head down and ready to go...and i am READY! for my wine. so come on out, baby girl!!

Nurse came in and measured me then doctor Informed that I'm measuring to far behind so off to have an ultrasound done to check on LO and fluid levels. Then I'm headed back to the office for results. Hoping ultrasound comes back good!

Just got back from my 39 week appointment. Everything is looking good. Baby has a strong HB and was a wiggle worm. I requested a cervix check because I'm a curious person. My cervix is still way high and far back but I am 50% and not quite a 2 and baby is at a -1 station in my pelvis. Now nothing to do but wait.

Progressed from 2 cm 60% effaced to 3 and 40 this week. She said if I make it past this weekend we will strip membranes on my appt Monday.

First NST today, hopefully all goes well!

Just found out last week that my current practice (I switched around 20 weeks) has been using my original due date of June 2nd and not my adjusted due date from the ultrasounds at 8 and 20 weeks (which was June 8th). So now I'm technically past 40 weeks and we'll be talking induction dates at my Friday appointment.

Charlie had a well baby visit today to check her growth. She's now 7 lb 14 oz! She's gained a full pound since leaving the hospital 10 days ago! My little chunky monkey is doing great!

We also got to meet with the lc who corrected our latch problem. Thank goodness!

i had my 40 wk appt today... I've been 1. cm dilated for 3 weeks now. Baby is lower and dr was able to strip my membranes. it was depressing to make a 41 wk appt!

It sucked. Sonogram went fine. During the NST the baby's heart beat kept getting lost and she wasn't married at all so they had me lay on my side and they lost her heartbeat entirely. Nurse couldn't find it with the big machine or the doppler so she had the charge nurse come in. No dice. So they said they'd had the midwife come in but I heard frantic voices on the other side of the door and one of the other OBs comes in and starts grilling me with all these questions. How was your fluid? What time was your sonogram? When are you scheduled to be induced? Papers were flying, every nurse on their huge staff crowded into the room. Totally took ten years off my life. Ultimately the doctor found the heartbeat and for the rest of the NST baby cooperated. Meanwhile, it took forever and a day so my husband ended up late for work. Blah.

39+3 appt today. All is well. Lost a lb, BP is great, he's measuring just on and has dropped. Dr anticipates she'll see me next week and possibly the week after as well....

40 week appointment and fluid check. Baby girl is content and doesn't want to come out. Tomorrow is my due date and she has no urgency to meet me. I'm still dilated to 2cm but she did come down a little. She's at about a +3 station. Weighs approximately 8lbs 8oz. and is 20in long. I am giving her 1 week to get out or she gets an eviction. I will be induced on the 11th unless the hospital can't take me that day. I'll find out tomorrow. I also have to have an NST on Friday and Tuesday. If I fail either of those, I'll go in for an immediate induction. So...only 1 week or less to go! Holy crapola....I'm not sure I'm ready for a baby??? I guess I better get ready!
