DD loves the pool. We just finished her first swim class. Our county has a nice indoor pool and that has a kiddy area where she can walk into the pool.

DS1 loves the pool too! Ours has a nice shallow kiddy area, but the bottom is pretty scratchy. I would love to enroll DS in a swimming class, but we might wait until next year and teach him some ourselves this year.
We set up a inflatable kiddie pool in the back yard and DS1 and I have been in it the last few days. He really loves it. I have no idea what the twins are thinking yet as I am still not feeling any movements.
If they are anything like DS1 they will love being in the water. I used to soak in the tub every day I was pregnant with DS1 and he would kick and do flips.
I haven't been yet during this pregnancy, but loved it when I was pregnant with DD. Didn't get much of a reaction from her, but in the late pregnancy months it was great to just float around and not feel ginormously pregnant!
I've been swimming a couple of times over the past two weeks, but I haven't really felt anything coming from the baby yet in response to that. Our pool water is pretty warm, though.
Our first swim was last night. LO didnt kick much. But she was pretty inactive all day yesterday. I started to worry just a tad, but after drinking some juice she started practicing her ninja moves again. I love being able to finally feel her for reassurance even though it makes me super sick and have a nervous tummy.

That was my favorite part of being pregnant in the summer! I liked it even better at the beach with the salt water and waves lolling me around.
My first pool trip wasn't that great. I was babysitting this past Saturday, so I took the little girl to the kiddie pool. I was in a foot of water with her. A life guard told me I had to get out because I couldn't wear a cotton tank over my swim suit. (It had thick straps). She didn't say anything to the other moms with cotton shirts on. I was standing in a foot of water! *vent over* lol At one point I was sitting in a foot of water and I did feel LO kicking.

Um...WHY can't you wear a cotton tank in the pool? I see lots of people wearing shirts in the pool. Some do it to avoid sunburn, I think.

I have no idea. I could have just taken it off but I didn't know if pp would be disturbed by my belly. After talking to DH he made me feel better. So we are going to the pool this weekend belly and all.
The pool we swim at is indoor with a temperature control. The way I enjoy swimming (holding a kick board and doing the breaststroke kick) seems to put him to sleep. Its one of the few times I am not feeling consistent jabs. Plus my OB said that swimming method actually helps strengthen you for delivery too, so yay for swimming!
My little guy started kicking like crazy as soon as I got into the pool last weekend!! It was hysterical!! Maybe he doesn't like the cold?? Who would have known he could react that fast from the "inside"
