I think it sounds like a BS apology. Obviously it is part of your vernacular if you said it of your own volition, and not in a movie role.

    I stopped liking him after I read his interview in Rolling Stone awhile back. He sounds like a self-absorbed douche. I

    I have lesbian aunts and once I was drinking wine with the family and was listening to a story about their neighbor's douche son. I mean to say "What a hobo" Bc he was a total bum. But instead I said "What a homo." Luckily my aunt thought it was hilarious, but her wife did not. It is the single most cringeworthy moment of my life.

    Maybe an UO but, I don't think celebrities should have to apologize for saying inappropriate things to paparazzi who are stalking them and goading them and invading their space.

    I really hate this "apology tour" culture that we have.

    I kind of liked that he said he wasn't excusing what he said but giving context to why he said it.

    I don't have strong feelings either way about Jonah Hill but to be honest if someone a-hole was following me around with a camera all day I'd probably say something shitty too, especially because paparazzi are trying to create stories by catching celebrities doing shitty things.

    I lost all respect for that kind of thing when princess Diana died and paparazzi sat around taking pictures of it. Not that this is in anyway the same thing. 

    I do understand though, that when you are in the public eye you have to keep your cool way better than that and it's a part of the life that you have made for yourself.  

    The only part of his explanation I found to be suspect was that because of this incident he was going to go spend time with his gay friend. That was obviously added to say "hey, I'm not that guy".

    He is GROSS.

    There's been a lot of press about him lately-- many of the reports are saying he is way to big for his britches.
