Sorry I missed the check-in last week! The holiday on Monday really threw my week off!

@RedTwizzlers - So sorry to see than BFN, but you are not out yet. I have absolutely everything crossed for you.

@TVLily - Wonky cycle indeed! Were you able to TTC this cycle? Have you talked to your doctor?

Hello @LaRomana09‌! How are you sweetie? What's your protocol this cycle? Thanks for the check-in!!

Well last we talked I was done prometrium waiting for AF, but when she hadn't shown up 12 days later I saw my RE. The u/s showed the big follies and the bw showed I was starting to surge; so we just did TI last week. But I could tell my RE didn't know what to think of it, as he called "very interesting". So I'm in the 2ww for the first time in 3 months and thrilled (although I can't help but wonder how it all effects the egg quality). If it doesn't work we'll move forward to IUI next cycle.

We didn't have Memorial Day but the weekend before was a long weekend and we went to a few events, one had a live band which was fun; but it was cold!!

Heyyyy @LaRomana09! Missed you last week! How are you?

loveinkw13 - I'm glad to see AF didn't keep you waiting too long after that - test. What's the plan this cycle?

Well, it didn't feel like it wasn't too long! But she only stuck around for about 4 days so that was good. MH is in Orlando for work until tomorrow night, so the RE canceled IUI #2 since he doesn't come back until CD14. I went in yesterday for bloodwork and a U/S to check my follicles and everything told the doc that I would O in the next day or two. This blows my mind because every time I tracked my cycles, I didn't O until CD16-20. So I will be asking him about that at the next appointment if this cycle isn't successful. He gave me a shot (I can't remember what it's called) to make sure I do NOT O until late tomorrow at the earliest. We are to have sex when H gets home tomorrow and Thursday and then I start those lovely progesterone suppositories again on Friday. I won't be in town to go get my betas drawn so I'll be taking Wondofo's with me and hoping for the best!

QOTW - We had a Memorial Day party here and had about 40 people over. It was a fun but long weekend!

@qanda2013 - Ugh I know what you mean, when I've decided not to chart I've always regretted it in the 2ww! I hope it goes by quickly for you.

@tvlily - Well, that certainly is interesting but yay for being in the 2ww! FX for you!

AFM, yeah, the BFN sucked. I know it's not over yet technically, but it sure feels like it is. Ugh. Not that I was expecting a BFP this cycle but we're closing in on 3 years TTC and the thought of living CFNBC is weighing heavily on my mind. I'm not even really upset about the individual failures of a bfn or anything anymore, I mean I am, but I'm more upset about what it means for my/our future. Sorry to be a debbie downer.

QOTW: Memorial Day isn't a holiday here in Sweden land, obviously, but DH's brother got married this past friday, and my parents came out for it! It was so fun.

Thanks for the check in..

So the nurse at my RE's office sucks because she insists I don't get to count this months thirty hour "menstraul" (I had five day cycles pre MC) and the ovulation (temps rose and I got a solid smile with clear blue) on CD 12 (which is the same as I was ovulating with the assistance of clomid pre MC) since my levels were at eighteen three days after my "cycle". My RE still wants me to have my cycle in June and again in July before we TTC. Great news is I've never ovulated without clomid!! I'm hoping/planning to keep up the "good work" and fully intend to TTC without any assistance come August!! God willing I'll continue to have twenty eight to thirty one day cycles and ovulate on CD 12 so we can TTC with no assistance from the RE or clomid. I'm thinking if we get positive ovulation kits we will try through Christmas on our own! In the meantime the RE is still insisting come Friday at I do another beta draw (UGH)!

BTW: I worked most of Memorial weekend. On Memorial day itself we finally (it only took four years) cleaned out the garage, installed the rest of the shelving, and we finally have room to park both our vehicles!

Don't you just love when your doctor calls you "interesting" or "puzzling"? But it's great that you O'd and were able to get in TI. FX for you!

I'm not sure what levels you mean? I'm sorry you're frustrated though. FX that this Friday is your last beta draw. (((HUGS)))

My update: I am doing another natural cycle with TI plus IUI when I get my surge. Hopefully I don't miss it like I did last cycle. I may have had a bit of panic that I did miss it and gone in for BW yesterday and today to confirm that I didn't. Deep breaths. If we don't have any luck this cycle, I may give Clomid another shot.

QOTW: DH was away for Memorial Day (pout) so I just worked on my vegetable garden. He helped me finish it this past weekend and now I can just sit and admire it.

@LaRomana09 - we always have people at our house. MH and I have huge families and one of his brothers and my sister live within a 2 mile radius of us. We love it! We have the backyard for it so it works.

I was dong really good for awhile, determined to take charge and make some positive changes in my life and right about then AF showed up. We aren't actively TTC until a few months from now but that monthly reminder post loss that I am not pregnant anymore just makes me so sad and moody.

QOTW: Did you do anything fun for Memorial Day weekend? (or any weekends lately, for non-US ladies!) Actually we went to the beach to open the summer season as the weather forecast said 85 degrees....they lied! It was about 65 degrees, windy and drizzly. We were all bundled up in blankets and my Mom and I were singing "do you want to build a snowman" we had a few laughs sucked it up for a few hours and then headed inside for food and drinks. It was memorable for sure.

Roof was nearly complete last week, although my builder realized he didn't order the stone for our chimney, so they have to come back

Cedar posts outside are set now, and I'm trying to think how I want to finish them to tie it in to the facia board. We were going to stain them dark but I actually love the natural color.

Also the water well is being drilled.

If you look hard, you can see the lake to the left in this photo. This is what I wanted! Can't wait to relax and enjoy a sunset here.

We had a miscommunication on the posts for our carport and they can't be changed I don't think. ***pout***

We also had a miscommunication on the posts for inside our house, however I spent all day yesterday finding what I wanted. They will be sanded a little but I'm squeeing a bit here.

We also framed the bar wall in our kitchen, and our last windows were installed. Our electrical is in but they messed a few lights up. Sheetrock and insulation should be in this week!

QOTW: I operated a backhoe and picked up all the concrete junk from the house site and dumped it in wash outs on the property. We just stayed around here and enjoyed being outside!

Hey girls. Sounds like everyone was industrious over Memorial Day. My cycle ended up being 27 days, so I can live with that. We will NTNP this month. I am not going to chart for the time being, but if nothing happens by the end of August I will start. My Memorial Day was spent doing not much of anything as H felt under the weather. We did go to see X-Men on that Sunday night and then I grilled burgers on Monday. Hope everyone has a great week!

(((HUGS))) AF is always an unwelcome reminder. I'm glad you've been doing better in general though. Your Memorial Day sounds kind of fun, in a "wow, that was terrible" memorable kind of way.

My appointment went OK. He didn't really tell me much that I didn't know, but I feel like it was good for my husband to hear from the doctor's mouth. I actually got all my results back from the thrombophilia panel- all normal. I am 90% happy, but 10% sad about that. It would have been nice to have potentially gotten an answer right away. He has a few more tricks up his sleeve, but didn't want to jump to them right away.

Memorial Day was spent watching Neighbors and X-Files. Have I mentioned I am an X-Files nerd (see siggy)? HAHA

Well it's good that YH was able to go and hear everything from the doctor. And it's good that everything is normal, although frustrating to not have answers. (((HUGS)))

DH is a total X-Files nerd, too. Have you noticed that X-Files is great for people-spotting? There are a ton of guest stars and it's a fun game DH and I like to play, trying to figure out where we know people from. And since it's an older show, people are much younger and more of a challenge to recognize.
