I have been walking 3 miles every week day morning with the dogs. My pace is really improving. I haven't been running. But I may start again. Slowly. Intervals probably. And the schedule at my yoga studio changed so I haven't found the right classes for me yet. But I will.
Anything big or exciting happening this week?
Have an appointment tomorrow morning and then on Thursday get to travel half a day to see my family. Haven't seen them since Christmas. Excited bc my cousin is also PG.
GTKY: What is the perfect breakfast for you?
Toast or waffles with butter and honey on one slice and peanut butter and bananas on the other. Or cereal with granola and honey and fresh fruit. I love breakfast. Especially on the weekend. French toast. Breakfast burrito. Biscuits and gravy. Mimosas. Mmm. All of it.
I am power walking 1 day per week for about 1.5-2 miles each time. It's not much, but better than nothing. I miss running, but I was getting too winded to keep it up.
We leave for Mexico on Thursday. I am super excited, but also not sure how this vacation will go with a 14 month old. At least one of my friends going is also preggo so I won't be the only one not enjoying the all inclusive alcohol.
Right now I am loving hashbrowns with a fried egg on top. Today I even added cheese to it and it was amazing!!!!!

I've just been walking after dinner with DH and DS, but DS ambles and picks up rocks/explores, so it's not much "exercise." I've determined that to really improve my fitness, I'll need to get out and walk on my own.
Anything big or exciting happening this week?
Found out LO is growing perfectly and is a boy.
GTKY: What is the perfect breakfast for you?
My favorite breakfast is cereal with milk, but I've been working on eating better, so an egg + toast + banana is what I've been having lately.

Nothing exciting, construction starting in my condo in 2 wks to do our 3rd bedroom so I can use our guest room as the nursery!
I love making egg sandwiches on bagel thins with 2 egg whites scrambled and cooked in the microwave (shape of the bowl fits bagel perfectly), topped with a turkey sausage and cheese
My attempt at running (once) was not so good this week. I could barely run for a couple of minutes before I got winded and needed to walk. Therefore, most of my workouts have been solely walking. Most days I try to walk anywhere from 3-9 miles (I know large range. Weekends are usually on the higher end)
No exciting news to report here!
My favorite breakfast and one I miss the most is a classic American breakfast with bacon or sausage, eggs, and hashbrowns. I really miss Bob Evans! They don't have the typical American style bacon here in Australia (they only sell Canadian bacon) and they don't really do breakfast sausage at all (if they do, it's not spiced right).
Anything big or exciting happening this week? See above. Our new house is the most exciting thing. We had a few rooms remodeled before we moved in and still have people around fixing up some of the rooms, but almost all of the big stuff should be completely done by the end of this week. We love the new house already.
GTKY: What is the perfect breakfast for you? I usually make a smoothie with fruit, peanut butter, and either spinach or kale. Lots of nutrients and keeps me full all morning. On the weekends when I have more time, I love eggs.
Running is slowing down for sure. Still getting out there twice a week, but down to 2 - 3 miles with walk breaks! Going to the gym usually 3 days a week on top of that, doing ~30 min elliptical and then some light weights.
Anything big or exciting happening this week?
Nothing until my next appointment on Monday
GTKY: What is the perfect breakfast for you?
I seem to be slowing down and driving me nuts - B/F pregnancy I was running 6 days a week and doing some kind of strength training 3-4 days a week. But my work schedule got busier and now I can't do second work out at 8pm and just eat dinner late as Lo doesn't like that. My run today was no fun - I got a cramp in my lower back calf and then my foot started to get numb - calf still hurts. I was doing 9 1/2 min miles, but seem now to average at 10.5 and 11.5. I'm also gaining weight too fast, I think and that is slowing me down too. I need to get more strength training in as my butt and arms look flabby and awful. I have the Brazilian Butt Lift workout - but some exercises I can't do any longer and you have to do it daily and I can't always get to it. But I'll keep plugging and keep trying to at least run 4-5 days a week (3.5 to 4 miles).
Big this week: feeling and seeing kicks. Next appt June 9.
Breakfast: yogurt and eggs if i have time. If not, yogurt and fruit!
