I got bumped back a week...

Went to my 1st appt today and was a bit bummed bc the lady up front didn't think I was getting an u/s. But as soon as I walked in the machine was by the bed. YAY! So not only did I get to see my sweet lil bit, I saw the heartbeat. And Dr said I will get an ultrasound each time I go back at least until 20 weeks. Maybe longer. Only con, which isn't really one, is that the baby was measuring out 7w2d instead of 8w1d. But I'll take it!

    See the heartbeat is great news! I've been bumped back a week on every pregnancy during my first ultrasound - basing a due date for me on me last period is always wrong. Did they tell you why they are they doing so many early ultrasounds?

    no, just acted like that is the norm until 20 weeks. but I think that is only 2 more times btwn now and 20 weeks.

    It stinks to lose a week so early but you saw the heartbeat and that is awesome!  That does seem like a lot of US.  I had a lot in the beginning with my last two babies but I had an RE.  After he released me to my OB I only had the NT scan and the 20 week anatomy scan.  It's always fun to see them in there though!
