Sorry about being a bit late again today. I have a ton going on IRL. My doc appointment is tomorrow (finally) and I am just looking forward to her saying that things are looking good (I hope). I found out that I got my dream job and they are giving me a TON more money to go. I am in shock, and today I told my new boss that I am expecting. He was wonderful about the news. I am trying so hard to get everything done in my current job before leaving but that is proving to be a hard task. We are doing out gender reveal on Sunday! I cannot wait for my family to know that we are team pink! They are going to be so excited. Now that the job is settled too we are planning on taking a cruise to Cozemel in July. Eeek~ that is cutting it close to the no sail 24 week deadline, but we will make it.

I hope everyone else is doing well.

QOTW: You guys get to see my QOTW every week, so I dont have a good one.. I always struggle with this!

@Ashris13 Congrats on the new job! Funny how things like this all seem to happen at once - new job, new baby... big life change stuff!

I don't have any new baby updates yet. My next MW appointment is at the end of this week.

QOTW: Have we talked about summer vacation plans yet? (I'm new to this check-in, so sorry if you have) Or favorite summer time drink?

BTW- I had a virgin raspberry mojito last weekend and it was great! I'm definitely going to be ordering virgin mojitos the rest of this summer

I also made "fake" sangria with white grape juice + ginger ale + cut strawberries and orange - it was at least fun to pretend I was having the real deal.

Hey ladies! Everything here is going well...I'll be 26 weeks on Thursday (when did that happen???) and it feels like this pregnancy is racing by!

We still haven't painted the nursery, but I'm not feeling any real pressure to get it done. I was anxious about it for a while, but I think that's because I was so excited. I know it'll eventually get done and I feel bad for pressuring DH into painting since he hates it so much. Plus, it's getting hot and humid here and we don't have a/c. I think I'll surprise him at some point and get all the trim done for him and then tape everything off.

DH felt baby girl for the first time on Sat night...it was pretty awesome. Since then, I've really started feeling her on the outside. I love that I can feel her getting stronger

I would like to be added please. My EDD is November 29, 2014. I am 14w3d today.

We had our NT scan last week and our first meeting with the MFM. It was SO good! I really like the MFM and we got some great pictures. Everything looks good so far. We go back July 3rd and should find out what team we are at that time! EEK!

Hey everyone. I don't really have any updates this week, our A/S is next week. I did start to call child care providers and met with one last week, that's pretty stressful since I'd much prefer to quit and stay home for a year. Unfortunately I carry our insurance and H's company offers terrible but expensive insurance options, so it's not an option. I'm just hoping that I can drop a day or 2 instead.

QOTW- I post a check-in on PGAL and my question today was about favorite warm weather vacations. I like talking about travel :-)

We have had a great week!

We toured the childcare facility we will be using 2 days a week (mh is staying home with Squirt the other three). It is less than a mile from my office and the person who runs it sits next to me in Church Choir. The joy of living in a small town.

We had an appointment yesterday with Squirt and our GC. The OB found the HB right away with the doppler and it was 156 bpm. Perfect! Our A/S is on July 1. It is later than usual, but both mh and I and our GC's family is vacationing at the end of June.

We are team green. Can you please update that on the list @Ashris ? Thanks!

@Ashris13 - congrats on the new dream job with more $$$ !! Double bonus

We had our OB checkup last Wednesday and as I suspected, she only did the doppler. Found the baby's HB right away, so that was good. We go back at 18w for another doppler check, then 7/9 for the anatomy scan. We are having a "silly" gender reveal party and we have to do it in June b/c MIL is going to Germany, so we are going to go to an elective U/S place to see gender the last week of June and do our party that weekend. I also bought a doppler (despite DH and my OB's request of my not buying one) and found the HB yesterday! Yay. Now I might be able to sleep better.

Congrats to all the ladies moving to 3rd tri! And thanks to @ashris13 for doing the check in!

We're 22 weeks on Friday.Not much going on- we picked a color for the nursery- Iron Ore by Sherwin Williams. It's a charcoal gray that will look good with both pink AND blue.

Other than that I'm just chillin on the couch. Our 11 year wedding anniversary is this Saturday, but since I'm on couch rest I think we'll just go out to a nice dinner and come home. We started a registry at Babies R Us and that was really overwhelming, but I think I've got it now.. I'll have a better update next week because we see the MFM on Monday to check my cervix and my OB on Tuesday to check on the babies.

Hi Everyone. 26 wks 1d here. Feeling good overall with some minor complaints, among the weirdest is recurrent mouth ulcers. I need to call the OB about it but they disappear in a couple days and it's hard to get too excited about it. We picked out paint for the nursery and have picked a crib which we'll order this weekend. I have art picked out but not yet bought- it's also hard for me to devote too much worry to getting the nursery done now as the rest of life takes precedence at the moment. It will get done! Next appointment isn't until the 17th.

QOTW: I love childhood favorites questions-books, vacations, etc. I like to think about baby eventually getting to enjoy some of the same things DH and I loved as a kid.

15 weeks today. Not much to report - A/S is July 2 so another month to go. I have been having round ligament pains (I think!) so my OB wants me to come in tomorrow just to check everything thing out. My husband and I are planning our vacation to California (my brother is getting married there in August) and I am looking forward to that!

I am 99% sure that I am going to quit working once the babies are born, but I have looked into a couple of childcare centers which cost as much as I bring home each month. Ha - not worth it!

HI Ladies, Not much to report here. 14.5 weeks and I'm still not "feeling" pregnant. A stranger actually noticed I'm pregnant and I got so awkward and red. Not sure what that was about especially since I have no bump and look no different.

I'm excited for my midwife appointment this week, and finally have more questions to ask her. Its kind of shocking to think that I only have 6 more months of this and then (fingers crossed) there will be a little baby in my arms and in our home.

Hi ladies! How the heck is this already my last 2nd tri check in? Nuts! This really is flying by.

Last week, I got borderline results on the 1 hr glucose screening. Went back for the 3 hr test on Friday, and found out yesterday I passed with flying colors! So, so relieved. In other big-ish news, we got the crib and dresser (from IKEA). DH assembled the crib yesterday and we're going to work on the dresser the rest of this week. Super cool to see the room come together, and to get a reality check on what will fit and what won't.

Nothing new to report here. I reached 24 weeks yesterday so yay for v-day! I have my routine monthly check up on thursday but don't expect it to be anything special. My OB doesn't do the gestational diabetes test until 28 weeks so I'll schedule that when I am there. Maybe I am not in the norm but I feel like time is going by soo slowly. I am sure its probably because I don't have much going on right now, who knows. I do feel like I am getting a rather large bump, but most people say it seems small. I am wondering how much bigger I am going to get. Then again I was only 104lbs when I got my BFP and I am up to 125 now, again probably my insecurities. Still trying to eat healthy and snack on fruits/veggies/mixed nuts.

QOTW: I don't have any suggestions, but I would usually search online when I did the first trimester check in for a few weeks.

I was 26 weeks yesterday and down to double digit days left. I'm sure now that it is getting hotter how the time might seem to drag but between high blood sugars and high bp I've been a the OB every 2 weeks since 16 weeks. I think that makes the time go very fast. Speaking of I have a u/s tomorrow to check growth and fluids because of the diabetes. I do wish I could get a month off from appointments but with 3rd tri around the corner I don't think that will happen!

Our 9 year anniversary is tomorrow. Last year on our anniversary I had my HSG and if you would've told me by my next anniversary I would be pregnant I never would've believed you!

Also our glider for the nursery should be here tomorrow which is our last big piece then I can get things up on the walls. My mom bought us a womb sounds bear today and it's crazy how much it sounds like the doppler!

Oh one last thing... I saw kicks on Saturday! I am overweight so I kind of thought I might miss out on that part but I was just reading a book and I thought I felt my belly jiggle and sure enough it was!

QOTW: I am also bad at that kind of thing but maybe people want to share baby names?

well I admit things have been rough here since the NT scan. Lots of tears shed and sadly, very little joy with being pregnant right now. I have another whole week until I get panorama results. If you think the 2WW is tough, trying to wait two weeks until you hear whether is baby has Down Syndrome or something else is even worse. Not sure i even want to take the call I am so terrified. Hearing the word "unfortunately" when I received the NT results is something I PRAY nobody else had to hear after our IVF journeys have already been so tough. I am still so happy for everyone here, and I am still praying everything will be okay with the baby. Truth is, due to my age, this is our only shot of having a child, so I REALLY REALLY want it to be a healthy baby. I will take whatever God sends, but I am really hoping He wants me to have a healthy, happy baby on this one.. Please continue to pray for me.

@indianaalum - sending hugs and prayers for you and your LO. Hope the time goes as fast as it can and that you get good news.

As for me - 27 weeks tomorrow, and this is my last 2nd tri check-in - crazy. And also: holy hormones, batman! Not sure if there's some huge surge toward the end of second tri or what, but yesterday was a terrible day for me, for no reason at all. I was upset and stressed and on the verge of tears the whole day. I tried to dump the holes from the hole puncher into the trash can, and half of them fell on the floor, and I screamed out loud. I got mad at the traffic and yelled at the other drivers, then remembered that Munchkin could hear me and I apologized to her for getting so frustrated, and told her that although I will try not to get frustrated with her I'm sure I will, and I'm sorry in advance, and I hope she can forgive me and still love me...and I was sobbing in the car. It was awesome. I told DH that I knew I was crazy, and I couldn't figure out why it was happening, and he reassured me that it was my first real super-crazy of the pregnancy, so I guess that's good? Anyway, today is a lot better.

QOTW: What was your first rock concert (or the first one you hope to attend)? What have you and your partner done to make sure your relationship doesn't get lost amidst the pregnancy craziness?

Thanks @Ashris13‌. We are 19weeks today with twins and @Manada is going to have a cerclage (cervical stitch) put in during surgery some time today. Yesterday we went in for our regular twice-a-week cervical scan and the cervix had gone from 2.7cm on Friday to 1.6cm. They admitted M to the high risk ward and she is on the list for emergency surgery today. We don't know what time it will be yet.

We are scared and sad but also hopeful that we will have good results from this. There are lots of risks with a cerclage but we are glad that it is at least an option.

The twins are both doing great on all the ultrasounds. We were scheduled to have our anatomy scan on Friday but we are not sure when they will do that since we are in the hospital.

I was supposed to start my new job today but with the surgery I'm obviously not. Thankfully they are being understanding about that.

Hi ladies! I've been lurking on PAIF ever since my BFP but I never managed to do the 1st Tri check ins. I want to make sure going forward I get more involved here. I hit 14 weeks today. My EDD is 12/3 and we are Team Blue!

I had an OB appointment yesterday and it was pretty uneventful. Heard the heartbeat, they took my weight (I've gained 2 pounds) and blood pressure, talked to the doc about our upcoming Disney trip and then I was on my way. My next appointment is 6/30 and they'll do the screen for spina bifida then. Other than that it's nice to hit 2nd Tri, I feel like I'm getting some energy back and some of my food aversions are going away. We've started looking at some registry items but probably won't actually register for a few more weeks.

Quick history on me for those who don't know me from TTGP or IF and can't see my sig: I'm 40 and we were trying for 2.5 years before we got a BFP on our second IVF cycle. I'll be 41 when the baby arrives. This is a second marriage for both me and DH and he has a DD from his first marriage. He has joint custody of her and she's super excited for a little brother.

AFM, DH has gotten to feel the boys. I grabbed his hand on Sunday because A was kicking pretty hard, and DH was really excited. He has been all over my belly now, so it's a good thing I don't mind it from him!

DH also got a job offer in Michigan, so we will be moving back by the end of June! We are very excited, but so sad to be leaving Baltimore. Nothing like buying a house, both getting new jobs, and having 2 kids within the span of 3 months!

27 weeks today, and i feel like things are starting to move at a steady pace. My appts will now start being every 2 weeks with OB and idk about the appts with MFM yet, so far they are every month but will find out if that changes at my next appt on the 16th.

Had an OB visit on Monday, all is well thankfully... I am however gaining a little more weight than OB would like

I'm up 40 lbs now, started at 138, now 178 and I'm 5'6" . OB agrees that a portion of it was the weight gain from early 1st tri when my body was still bloated from the IVF meds but still that only really accounts for around 8-10 lbs.. she said not to worry too much but to aim for 5-6 lb a month weight gain from here on out. we shall see how that goes! lol

Ack! I was so excited to finally be joining the 2nd tri ladies...and then I forgot to post my update. My "due date" is Nov. 28 and I'm pregnant with two beans. We don't know the sexes yet, but will HOPEFULLY find out at our next appointment (June 19th).

No major updates for me. I've started showing quite a bit and finally had the dr prescribe me something for the MS (which actually got worse when I started the second tri). I swear I feel like a completely different person now. Most importantly, I'm enjoying food again! Yay!

Also a little stressed out with the in laws who are here from overseas. QOTW - What are your thoughts on gender stereotyping (pink for girls and blue for boys)?

Hi ladies! Not too much going on with me. I am 18w3d today. We had an OB appt yesterday but she did not do a sonogram so we did not find out the gender like I expected. Hopefully we find out at our A/S on June 12. We had a bit of a scare over the weekend when neither of us could find the baby's heartbeat on our at home doppler for 3 days, so we went to a sonogram boutique place just for reassurance. The place was very nice & they recorded the baby's heartbeat to put inside a teddy bear & the heartbeat plays when you press the bear's tummy. I love it & have listened to it 100 times a day since!

Sorry for the late check-in. I'm 27 weeks and like others have said, can't believe I'm almost done with second tri. Time is really starting to fly. I met a twin mom who was 37 weeks last night (being induced next week) and that gives me hope that these babies will continue to cook. After getting past my second trimester drama (bleeding, placenta previa) I'm enjoying being pregnant and feel kind of sad that I'll only be pregnant for max of 11 more weeks. Especially knowing that most likely we will not have more children after twins. My tune will probably change as I get more uncomfortable! I don't have any appts this week but next with I have both OB and high risk OB. I'm starting to get comments on the street like "any day now Mom" but so far it's not annoying me.

Possible questions: Nursery prep related, what books are you reading, what's your favorite movie, what is the first alcoholic beverage you will have ...

Today was our a/s at 18w5d. We haven't seen LO since NT scan, so that was exciting. Lots of movement and that was reassuring. Was told the top of my ute is now at the level of my belly button (my first thought was "Wow! That explains the sudden belly explosion the last two weeks"). It was unbelievable to see the chambers of the heart beating away.

We also received our 2nd tri bloodwork screening results. Negative for NTDs. Next Friday, we have an OB appt, so we'll see if the "weight gain" issue has improved. :-/

Lots of work drama culminating in some management changes, so hopefully there'll be less tension in the workplace. We've also brought on some new folks, one of whom will be a new dad 3 weeks before us so we've been comparing notes.

ETA: MD noted that the placenta is posterior so we should have an easier time feeling movement from the outside. Also noted that the placenta is about 1.5 cm away from the cervix and they like it to be more than 2cm away. They want to re-check at week 32.

Can you add me? My EDD is 11/26 and we are having one baby. I just had my 15 w Ob appointment which went well and did an early GTT because of an HbgA1C scare. Luckily the GTT results were normal. We are planning on staying team green.

23w1d already.....time is flying. No, @ashris13, crib hasn't been delivered yet, but the bedding and curtains I ordered arrived!! So excited to get the crib and start setting everything up! Cadien has been MUCH more active the last week and I love it

I can tell when he's sleeping because when he's not, he's all over the place!! DH can feel him kick but has only seen my belly "jump" twice. When I sleep, Cadien must stick his bum out because I get a super large bulge in my belly that looks like i swallowed a softball! DH loves to see and rub that

Due date: 12/6 ...1 bean. We're pretty sure it's a girl. Though it's early, my OB looked straight between the legs the other day at our checkup, and said, "no scrotum. no penis" in her heavy russian accent. My husband is hoping it's not a very unfortunate little boy
