***Making A Home Monday***

Do you have pets in your home?

We have a 1 1/2 year old Chiweenie puppy girl named Pixie Cupcake. We had toy poodle named Rocky who past away last July. He was first baby and was 14. We miss him :-(

  • Not at the moment. We had a 21 year old cat, Sunny, who passed away in March. He had a great long life. We miss him a lot but I'm kind of enjoying not having to clean up any animal mess for a while. I don't plan to get any more pets until both (hopefully) of my kids are potty trained. I can only handle so much poo cleaning at one time.

  • No, but grew up w cats, dogs, snakes, birds, a bunny, hermit crabs, hamsters, and frogs. Basically I lived in Dr. Doolittle's house... I had my quota of pets and heartache for a lifetime but am considering a dog for dd. She adores animals (like I did, and my brothers and parents- we took in so many pets).

YES!!! We have a dog. She is a 15 week old Boston Terrier that we got for DD birthday. DD named her Lulu Belle. She is so awesome and has clearly chosen me for the "mommy role." This certainly helped in IUI failure #1/OHSS drama. She's gonna graduate from puppy classes in 2 weeks! We also have a "carnival" fish that DD named Jorie. Technically, this is Jorie #4, but DD doesn't know that, however, she has been the longest living fish. Jorie might not be a she, but a he, we don't know. We find her not swimming at the top of the bowl frequently, but as DD says, "She's just sleeping." How the fish is still alive is beyond all comprehension. She should have passed a year ago. But she keeps kicking. I tried to insert a pic, but Im inept.

  • No pets here, city living and business travel always kept us from getting any. Then G came along and I dunno we probably wouldn't consider it until we moved to the suburbs.

TTC#1 May 2009- July 2010 on our own with no luck

Started with RE in August 2010, dx with unexplained IF and then finally our 3rd IUI cycle using Follistim and Trigger resulted in our wonderful little man.  Born 12/2/11

TTC#2 Never really prevented, but were careful early on as Dr. reccomended

Surprise BFP 12/16/13, started progesterone immediately as first numbers came back low, but betas were good.  Progesterone wasnt enough. Natural MC 12/24/13.

Back with RE as of January 2014...

    5/27/14- Chemical Pregnancy :(

    April 2015 IVF#1

    5/13/15- BFP, please stick LO!

I have a  3 year old dachshund named Darla Belle that is DH's, and I have a boston terrior named Mickey Mouse that we have no  idea how old he is because my grandma rescued him, and then we took him when she couldn't take care of him any more. We tried rescuing a bluetick that was 3 years old, but he attacked my boston with DD 2 feet away, and I took his ass to the pound... Not that I am usually like that, but that could have been DD... and now my poor ol man is not himself anymore... he really did a number on him, he wont jump up and down anymore, if you move too fast, he whimpers, if he DOES decide to get down, he cries so bad and limps around now... breaks my heart, he has  seizures too and I am so stressed that he is not gunna be with us much longer :(

  • We have two cats who used to be indoor cats but got kicked out when they protested DS by peeing all around the house.  We got to carpet and they live outside now.  It's worked out okay.  I found a dead bird in the yard this morning, so I think they've forgiven us.  They are starting to warm up to DS, too, now that he's learning how to pet them nicely instead of just grab their ears.
