When I first started trying to get pregnant I thought "oh this will be easy to control my weight gain". Now I am honestly afraid!!! I am normally a pretty healthy and active person, I work out 5 out of 7 days a week and eat roughly 1400-1500 calories a day to lose a little or maintain. If I seem like a health freak it's because a few years ago I lost 45 pounds and refuse to let my health fall out of check again.
Anyways.... To the issue. I'm so starving hungry. Even when I'm finishing a full sized meal I'm still hungry! Then an hour later I need a snack again. I've been chugging water like a camel and trying to have only healthy snacks (Greek yogurt, nuts, oatmeal, string cheese, fruit). Is it normal to be this damn hungry!? Is it likely to stay this way for my entire pregnancy or will it calm down? My husband thinks im kidding when seriously need to eat right after we have dinner. I started tracking calories just it make sure things don't get too out of hand, and I am staying around 2000 thankfully which seems to me like an jnsane amount, but must be ok for growing a baby and maintaining weight? Any advice would be appreciated!!!

Thanks so much for the personal example and assurance! I feel like some people commenting think I am being a moron obsessing over weight - I am not trying to be, I just want to make sure I'm not the only one here feeling like I could eat the city!
My first appointment is June 12, I will talk to the doc about my eating if I still need to by then!
