Repeat C/S come in!

Hey ladies,

I have been having the toughest time getting my incision to heal this time around and I feel like it was a complete breeze last time? My LO is 2 months old and I'm still battling little areas that pop open. It isn't really red around openings just slightly so my doctor doesn't seem concerned he said sometimes with the second they end up stitching through a hair folical or two and that's what causes it to keep popping open... And I'm talking very small holes but enough to worry me and paranoy me. Is anyone else having this problem? I really thought it was actually doing better and was scabbing up in that area the past few days so I thought I was in the home stretch when all of a sudden tonight after doing a load of laundry I felt a sharp pain looked down and it's bleeding and there are 3 small holes. I'm so over it! And on top of this crazy shit, I haven't had a break from bleeding since I had her! I'm over my period too!

    I had one area that opened up on the left side about 1/4". It was all oozy
    And smelled funky so the ER nurse in me freaked out. Saw the FNP in her office (they wanted me to go the ER! And I told them it wasn't ER bad, imagining myself as the Triage nurse) she pretty much said the same thing about hair folicles and folded skin. The area has since healed. I haven't checked it in a while. I try not to look at my body anymore. I just stopped bleeding this last week. So the bleeding is better than the 13wks I did last time! I still have SPD pain and I feel like my top half and bottom half aren't working together when I walk (I feel like I wobble).

    Is there anything you would recommend me putting on it? My dr said gauze, but I feel like it needs to be taped shut lol or something!!! It's driving me insane honestly! I put some neosporin on it tonight. The crappiest part is my underwear fold down into that gap which I feel like is only natural and the waist on my underwear snag the scabs I feel like. I'm just not one to be without underwear lol that would drive me even more crazy!

    No lotions or potions, sorry. Gauze would be good as it's cotton and would breathe. I put the liner to one of my glad rags between my incision and the elastic of the underwear, which is a few layers of cotton flannel sewn together. I also would not tape or glue the incision as it might trap bad bacteria in. I feel you though, the flap of skin drives me insane. Told DH we're done, he can get KU if he wants a son so badly.
