I am 34 weeks along. As @saltypearl said, I find my second pregnancy harder than my first. I don't know if it is because I am running around after a toddler and don't have time to rest or what. I have also been having numbness and tingling in my hands and lots of swelling this time around. LO is measuring small so I am going in for BPPs every week for the past month and will continue until I deliver. He is looking good and I am getting excited about our DS having a little brother!
I have to say I am nervous about how DS will handle the new addition but we will manage!
I am 13w3d today and so relieved to be getting out of the first trimester! I'm due on 11/29, but my RCS is scheduled for 11/24. I'm exhausted but the nausea and food aversions are much less frequent now. This pregnancy is already much different than with DS, mostly because I don't have the time to rest when I'm chasing after a toddler. Plus the nausea was 10x worse than with #1. We're going to remain team green again this time.
We keep trying to explain to DS that there is a baby in mommy's belly, even though he's obviously too young to realize that his world will be rocked in 6 months! When we ask him where the baby is, he apparently thinks I have one in each boob.
Good to see everyone's updates and thanks @SJandVA for checking on us! I am 19 weeks and just had the anatomy scan yesterday! So relieved that everything looked good! We had done the maternity21 bloodtest earlier and found out it was a boy - we have settled on the name Jacob Patrick! It is definitely different being pregnant this time - so exhausting to run after Jeffrey all the time when I get over-exerted so easily! But we are super excited about baby no 2!!
38 weeks n counting. Baby boy is defiantly harder on my body but I'm overall pretty good low platelets is about it. I had a growth scan last week and he will be bigger than dd was but not by a lot.
@saltypearl u rock momma I can't imagine how you do it every day. I came home to a sleeping baby and I have zero intentions of waking her up.
16w3d, due November 8. This pregnancy is going a lot faster than when I was pregnant with DS, probably because I'm so busy with him all the time I don't have a lot of time to think about it!
I was hoping to feel movement already, I've heard STM feel it sooner, but not yet; with DS I was about 19 weeks before it was without a doubt baby I was feeling and not gas.
Next appointment is the anatomy scan, we are taking DS, not sure how much he'll understand, but recently we've started telling him "there's a baby in mommy's tummy". And I think daycare has been telling him too, because he's been saying "baby" a lot. I also bought a couple books about new baby and becoming a big brother for us to read to him when it gets closer.
Random fun fact: SIL is due a month before me! It will be a fun and busy Christmas for my in-laws with a 2-year-old and 2 new babies!
Remember that the discomfort is temporary and giving your child a sibling(s) is lifetime of joy. You ladies are all so fortunate that you are expanding your families..

@BPaws that sounds incredibly scary! Hope things calm down and baby can stay inside a while longer.
All your hard work with eating healthy and running has paid off. You look great!!
Congrats, ladies! Glad to hear you're generally doing well. It has been fun and crazy having had another baby 17 months after my first (August 2012) baby. Pregnancy is far less relaxing, but it gets even busier with #2 on the outside
The biggest surprise for me was how quickly the switch was flipped from worrying so much about my first baby and how I would have so much less time for her, to almost being annoyed with her that she was interrupting my time with the new baby. And of course I felt horribly guilty about that.
The best part has been how amazing it is to see the two of them interact, though. Things are definitely calming down a bit now that we're four months into 2 under 2.
I hope things continue to go well for everyone!
BFP #1 9/2010 (lost our baby at 21 weeks)
BFP #2 8/2011 (ectopic pregnancy)
BFP #3 10/2011 (chemical pregnancy)
BFP #4 12/2011 (Abigail born 8/15/12)
BFP #5 5/2013 (Griffin born 1/23/14 with heart defects, now repaired!)
I'm loving all the updates too! I didn't realize how far along some of you are.
@CourtandNate it took me a long time before I was ready too. Hence the 4 1/2 years between my girls. I was around my mom group friends who were pregnant and just had no desire at that time.
Now I have baby fever:) good luck to all of you. You will have to share what life is like with two because I'm terrified of dividing my attention between two.
27 weeks - due 8/26 with a girl (Raya)! Like everyone else has said, this pregnancy has FLOWN by!! It's been a pretty easy pregnancy so far, but I have acid reflux a LOT. :-/ My favorite part this time is seeing DS lay his head and hand on my belly and "listen" for "baby Raya" - he's so precious!!

@CourtandNate - I am definitely not ready yet either!
We brought Magnus home today! He arrived Tuesday morning 2 1/2 hours after we arrived at the hospital. Mina loves him but she's a little rough.
Congratulations!!! He's so cute. Look at all that hair and those red lips.
