I just got a text from my friend telling me that 1 year ago today we were at my bachelorette party. If you told me this time last year I would be preparing for a little girl I probably would have thought you were nuts. What were you doing 1 year ago today?

Anyone else have that "memoir" app that looks at all your social media accounts and shows you what you were doing 1 year, 2 years...5 years ago? It's pretty neat and has brought back a lot of memories.

Anyway, according to memoir 1 year ago today I took a picture of my dog in my backyard. Thrilling lol but FIVE years ago today DH and I were driving from Seattle to Oklahoma City (he had three months of job training and I went with). Judging by the pictures we were in the middle of NOWHERE today. In fact there's a picture of our GPS that says our next turn is in 346 miles....

My DH and I had agreed that I would go off the pills after summer was over last year, haha. We tried to do more things over the weekend such as trips to the beach, San Francisco, hiking, etc.

Last year in February and April, respectively, my husband and I both lost our jobs. He was collecting unemployment and I was still waiting for it to come through. In May, we found out that we were denied for public assistance because we had too much in savings and unearned income (unemployment). We had chewed through our emergency savings and had about a month of expenses left, and my husband was bringing home $1600/month in unemployment, which was barely enough to pay our rent, let alone anything else. We were preparing to move in with my parents and I was researching places that we could collect food boxes to feed our kid.

BUT, he accepted his dream job on this day last year, and started a couple days later. It was enough income for me to discontinue my job search and stay home with my SN kiddo, and we've spent the last year rebuilding our emergency savings and saving for a house, plus paying off the medical debt that we accrued while we were unemployed. It is hard to believe how much our life has changed in a year, and I would have never thought that one year later we'd be 6 months along with our second kiddo (especially because we were firmly OAD

A year ago today we were beginning the weekend of our first anniversary with a CG formal dining out followed by a weekend on Martha's Vineyard. Our anniversary is on Monday. Can't believe we have almost been married for 2 years now and are expecting our little girl.

A year ago today I was learning how to make caramel sauce to go on a Snickers Cake for my SO's birthday. I had also just recently been put on insulin for diabetes and making that caramel sauce was testing my ability to be a good patient. I mean, I had to taste it, how else would i know if i made it right? Also baking was how I was distracting myself from the upcoming due date after my MC
A year later and I'm insulin free and getting ready for our little one... it makes my head spin. Although now that I'm thinking about it I may have to make another snickers cake... or at least the caramel sauce for over ice cream.

One year ago DH and I had just come home from a Memorial Day trip to a broken air conditioner, so we were freaking out about coming up with an unexpected $1500. Also I think I was already pregnant for the first time, though I didn't get the BFP until mid-June.

I don't know about exactly what I was doing, but I'm pretty sure it involved chasing around aubrey. She had been crawling for 2 months and had started pulling up and going everywhere. she was 9 months old.

This is the anniversary weekend of when FI and I started dating so I actually remember! We were in Sedona on a family vacation

It is one of our favorite places to visit so we try and go every year.

One year ago, DH and I were setting up our wedding registry at Macy's and found an amazing deal on the suits he wanted for the wedding. It's amazing that we will be celebrating our first wedding anniversary a week or so after our daughter is born.

1 year ago today I had just turned in my resignation for my highly stressful job and was packing to move three states away for my new job.

That move and the lack of stress is receiving a lot of credit for my current pregnant status!

A year ago DD was exactly 4 months old. We were about to start probably the hardest year of our lives, although we didn't know it then. It has involved DH getting severely depressed and suicidal due to his old job, a car we had just bought having major engine problems 3 days later, having to put our dog down because of aggression/attacking DD, many promising job opportunities falling through, and now DH being unemployed because his temporary position ended and he hasn't found a new job yet. I never would've guessed I'd be over halfway through a second pregnancy considering it took over a year to conceive DD. Not to mention that DH was too depressed and unstable for awhile to imagine having another baby. But our marriage has grown stronger through it all and hopefully better things are ahead.

Oddly enough I don't have a fb status for a year ago today so I don't remember exactly. We had just returned from a cruise to the Bahamas the 27th or 28th so I bet I was back at work. It's so hard to believe how fast a year has went by and how much our lives have changed. Today DH and I have just spent the day together and now were outside sitting by the fire pit. I would feel safe saying today has been better than whatever I was doing last year at this time

One year ago today I was at home recovering from a super painful procedure due to no doctor being able to explain my abdominal pain I was in. I was also mourning due to the fact it had been 6 months and we were not conceiving like I had hoped and planned. Fast forward to September 2013 and I finally found a surgeon who did a pretty risky and scary surgery and the pain was instantly gone. Fast forward to December 2013 when we made the agonizing decision to call the fertility specialist because we were convinced we were unable to conceive naturally. And then fast forward to our year anniversary on 12/31/13 when we found it we did! I've never been so happy to cancel a doctor's appointment

A year ago I was still at my first location with my job, and I think they had just told us our branch would be closing. We were living with SO's parents because he wasn't working - and wouldn't find a job for another 5 months. It was stressful, but we got through it, and everything seemed to fall into place all at once in December - right before we got our BFP.

One year ago, I was excited/panicked about starting my first day in a new career as a nurse. There were definitely days in the months that followed when I thought I'd never make it through my first year in nursing. I'm so happy to be on the other side of that year with a new house and a new baby on the horizon!

I remember one year ago day perfectly because we had just bought our house. We spent the morning finishing the second coat of paint on the living room accent wall, then my in-laws came over to help us get yard work done. Ironically, we spent today painting the accent wall in the baby's room and my in-laws were over helping us build our raised garden.

ETA: I also know a year ago I would have killed to be pregnant. We'd been trying just under a year at that point. So, so grateful to have my baby girl on the way now.

1 year ago today I was celebrating my 25th birthday at the bars in Baltimore! I knew it would be my last crazy birthday at the bar, and we started trying in June! I'm happy to be celebrating my 26th birthday with a baby bump and some BROWNIES!

I love Timehop for this reason! One year ago my husband finished installing an egress window in our basement, in the house we are now renting out, and I had a 9 week old.

One year ago this past weekend was the first full weekend that DH and I spent without DS. My parents were watching him for us and if I remember correctly we went to the movies, went out to dinner twice and met up with friends for drinks. DS was just over 6 months old and I worried the whole time. :-)

One year ago I was starting to get sick with what I thought was a summer cold. It lasted 2 weeks then got worse. It turned into a UTI and I was given antibiotocs to treat it. After 2 doses of the antibiotics, I was unresponsive & was rushed to the hospital where I was in acute organ failure. I spent 6 days in ICU thinking I had everything from cancer to lupus. While in the hospital, I developed severe pneumonia and couldnt breathe at all. I thought I was going to die and all I wanted to do was say bye to my son. I was a TERRIBLE month and I am so thankful I healed, Im healthy and I have a little sweetie on the way. This June is WAAAY better already!
