    2) How did you do this past week? If you didn't reach your goals, what will you do to get back on track?

I'm still struggling with getting all my runs in. I got one long run in this week and that was it. I switch over to day shift in two weeks and I'm really hoping that'll help.

GTKY: Did you play sports in school? Which ones?
I played volleyball, ran cross-country, indoor&outdoor track, softball, and soccer. When I left for college I played soccer, rugby, and softball.

    2) How did you do this past week? If you didn't reach your goals, what will you do to get back on track? I did terribly, since being diagnosed with my subchorionic hemorrhage they don't want me running, hopefully it's gone by next Friday and my workouts can resume!

GTKY: Did you play sports in school? Which ones? Yes- I was a swimmer, track and field runner and a cheerleader (yes it qualifies as a sport ;) ) Pre high school I played soccer, softball and basketball as well, but since I was a strong swimmer it won out in the later years...

    2) How did you do this past week? If you didn't reach your goals, what will you do to get back on track? Not great... my running buddies cancelled on me all week :(  I had every intention of doing some yoga last night just to get a workout it, but that didn't pan out either... I feel like crap because I should  be taking advantage of this time that I'm not sick to get some more exercise in, but I'm not...

GTKY: Did you play sports in school? Which ones? I was a figure skater for about 6-7 years, and I was in the high school marching band.  I play softball in elementary school, and played soccer in my pre-k years (though apparently I preferred dress-up to actually playing).  I tried basketball at one point, but I'm far too short for that game.

To be honest, I haven't been trying very hard since I found out. I think I was just kind of shocked at first and hadn't really decided what I wanted my fitness goals to be during pregnancy. But now I have! I have a lot of stretch and yoga videos on my tv. So my goal is to do at least 3 workouts a weeks, whether it be a video or a long walk, and 1 stretch session.

    3. I did cheer and dance team in HS.

How far along? 9 weeks 2 days

What did I do? I walked a hill interval program on the treadmill yesterday.

GTKY: I have danced since I was five years old. Love it.

P.s. I'm trying to start running again. I was in a steady routine before my bfp, but I've been so nauseous that any activity has been difficult.

Eta: My goal is to maintain or gain an appropriate amount of weight. Exercise at least 3x/week

    2) How did you do this past week? If you didn't reach your goals, what will you do to get back on track? I did really well. Storms interfered with my swimming but I managed to get in 5 runs and one swim. I'm starting this week off even better as I had swim this morning and I'll run 5 tonight.

GTKY: Did you play sports in school? Which ones?  I played Golf. I was never very athletic.

    2) How did you do this past week? If you didn't reach your goals, what will you do to get back on track? I was super busy last week and couldn't get any workouts in.  This weekend I was sleeping any time I wasn't busy.  I'm hoping to get a workout in at lunch today, maybe some lifting

GTKY: Did you play sports in school? Which ones? No, I was in theatre.  I didn't start exercising until about 5 years ago.

    2) How did you do this past week? If you didn't reach your goals, what will you do to get back on track?
I went to the gym 5 days for an hour each time.  The hard thing for me is when we eat out at restaurants, I tend to overeat.

    2) How did you do this past week? If you didn't reach your goals, what will you do to get back on track? I went to the gym 3x this week, and walked the dog the other days.  Two of the mornings I went to the gym before work (5:45 am), and was pretty much useless.  MS was so bad and I couldn't do much at all!

GTKY: Did you play sports in school? Which ones? I didn't play any organized sports, but loved snowboarding, skateboarding, and rollerblading.

    2) How did you do this past week? If you didn't reach your goals, what will you do to get back on track? Ugh, just posting in this thread makes me sad. I may have to change my goal. I have intense hip pain that has stopped me from running. It generally doesn't hurt if I am walking, but the second I start running, I am almost down for the count. (It also hurts when I am sitting down, but not as much.) Instead, I have just been walking at a high incline and I am going to start yoga.

GTKY: Did you play sports in school? Which ones? I played soccer and softball in middle school but nothing in HS or college.

  • 1) How far along are you? 7 weeks today (I think)

    2) How did you do this past week? If you didn't reach your goals, what will you do to get back on track?  This is my first time participating, so I'll just state my goal. Overall, throughout this pregnancy, I plan to keep up with CrossFit. I currently go 4-5 days a week and LOVE it (and dropped 67lbs after I had my daughter a year ago).  So Crossfit 4-5 days a week it is!

GTKY: Did you play sports in school? Which ones?  I played Volleyball and softball.
  • 1) How far along are you? 8w6d

    2) How did you do this past week? If you didn't reach your goals, what will you do to get back on track?  I didnt reach my goal this week of 3 miles every day, but on 2 of the missed days we went swimming, and I ended up walking almost 9 miles on saturday.  So I averaged 15 miles this week!   I will still be trying to get 3 miles even on the days that I swim, but will be happy as long as I do something

GTKY: Did you play sports in school? Which ones?  My mom made me play sports all throughout school (Basketball, volleyball, soccer, softball, track).  Im really bad at sports, the only one i was ever any good at and did voluntarily was golf.

     2) How did you do this past week? If you didn't reach your goals, what will you do to get back on track? Didn't do great with eating, but I worked out 6 days so I feel better about it. My boobs are starting to grow, which I REALLY hate. Eh, if that's the worst, I'll take it.

GTKY: Soccer, softball and cheerleading. I ended up cheering in college and I've coached for 7 years (starting my 8th) so I enjoyed it.

Can I get in on this?

I'm not sure now far along I am. My best guess is 5 weeks 4 days.

Last week...I didn't have goals. In was still in shock about being pregnant. I was in a biggest loser challenge and my DH just got me a fit bit. I was doing so well! I am about 40-50 pounds heavier than what i feel like I should weigh (non-pregnant) and about 20-30 pounds more than what is probably ok to weigh and I look ok even if I hate the number. I'm where I was at the end of my 2nd trimester of pregnancy with baby #2 right now.

My future goal is to track my activity, keep running 4+ times per week, give up soda, and eat close to my calorie goals. I hope to stay at or lose weight in first trimester by being healthy.

GTKY: I ran track and cross county in HS. My team won states 2 of the 4 years I ran XC, but I wasn't running at states. :( I also coached track and cross country when I was a teacher, and junior high volleyball and t-ball at various times in my life. I used to be SO active. Now I'm a blob.

  • 1) 7 weeks 5 days

    2) I got to yoga and ran twice last week, that's about all I could manage with this nausea. I think I just need to accept that some times this will happen and I'm ok with that. There will be days when it's just not in the cards.

    2) How did you do this past week? If you didn't reach your goals, what will you do to get back on track? Not too good. Only worked out on my days off from work because the nausea is kickin my butt!

GTKY: Did you play sports in school? Which ones? Tennis, soccer, and track & field in high school. Track in field in college as well as a couple years professionally (pole vault).
