Nursing Bras/Tanks for big Bust

Help! I'm two weeks from my due date and I still can't find any nursing bras or tanks in my size. I'm a 42HH regularly so I'm going to need a size up probably once my milk comes in. Any suggestions on what works/worked for anyone else? Most of the bras and tanks only go up to a F/G size that I've found online. My bras now are getting tight and have underwire so I won't be able to wear them once I start breast feeding for a while.

STM I am a 44I ususally and went up a size with nurseing DD1. I never found a nursing bra that fit me. I used front hook non underwire bras and would unhookal but the last 1or 2 hooks to nurse (Glamories magic lift was my favorite). I also found a Goddess bra that the straps un cliped but it was a real pain to refasten.

Elomi has some good bras in that range. Id get measured again since all the bras run differently.

after my milk came in, I was measured at a 36H the only tanks that worked for me were the Glamourmom full busted ones. I wore a M in them. I thought that size would never work but I actually found them somewhat supportive. I spent alot of money on non underwire bras and they just didnt work with a bigger chest. They gave me the worst saggy uniboob. The bra that made me feel human again was an Anita underwire. I was sized at Nordstrom and they had a very good selection of underwire nursing bras. I would wait until after your milk comes in since your size will likely drastically change!

FTM, but I was told that Nordstrom can convert regular bras to nursing bras, which is something I fully intend to check out once my milk comes in. I'm sticking with a couple of soft sleep nursing bras in the meantime (post-delivery) rather than spend $$$ on a properly fitted bra before it can be properly fitted. I figure I'll be in the hospital or home and if they don't super fit awesome, oh well. For those I have Cake's Cotton Candy in an XL and a couple Glamourmom tanks in L.

I read that underwire can clog your ducts at first so I was trying to stay away from underwire even though I need that support.. Is that a myth or can I use underwired bras too?

I loved Bravado nursing bras and tanks. They're the most comfortable I've found and I liked the support they gave more than other brands I have tried. Their website says they go up to size L/M.

Edit: It looks like their tank doesn't go up that high, but they might have bras that can help you.

I am having issues finding a nursing bra too. I went to Motherhood last night and got measured. They said I was a 42F. My normal bras now are 40DDD. I can't find any that look supportive enough and don't look like something my grandma would wear. Ughhhhh the struggle is real.

Not all nordstroms can convert the bras. Only stores that have an in house seamstress will...or that's what mine told me. The nearest one that would do that was over 100 miles from me. I was so hoping that was the case. I'd honestly just get a nursing tank to start off with. What size you are today will likely drastically change. I went up 3 cup sizes and couldn't get on any bra I had on that I wore during my pregnancy. I was also under the impression that underwire was bad but I used only underwire nursing bras. I couldn't stand non underwire ones. They just couldn't support my chest (and this could be because I'm bigger chested). I felt like a sloppy saggy mess in them. I had zero issues with clogged ducts etc.

I don't know if any of you have heard of hotmilklingerie.com but they have really cute nursing/maternity bras that go up to 42H for those of you that are struggling to find cute ones, and they have plus sizes. They have ones that are lace or purple or whatever so you don't look like you're wearing grandma's lingerie. Oh, and they're like 30 bucks. I think you can get them on amazon too. I have one and really like it.

Underwire bras are ok as long as you have a proper fit. I cannot stress proper fit enough! Nordstrom has excellent fitters if you have a store near you. I'm a 36H right now so I feel your pain.

Soo, I am a 44H normally and I've been wearing bra extenders with my regular bras throughout the pregnancy, but in reality I probably need two bra extenders on each bra at the moment, lol. Anyone else with boobs around my size and use the Goddess or the Elomi? I am apprehensive about spending over 100 on two bras when I have never had any luck in the past with nursing bras. I've always had to wrangle myself up something homemade using what I already have, but if I can avoid it this time I would love to.

FTM here. I got a bravado (someone else mentioned this as well). It's the only bra that went up to my size L/M. But it is really comfortable. For the nursing tanks, I made my own using regular tanks from Forever 21 (they are super cheap). You can learn how to make them on Pinterest. But it was sooo easy. Just cut the strap and sew a loop.
