Weeks/fruit:
Upcoming appointments:
Questions/symptoms:
GTKY: Will you be sending traditional (paper) birth announcements or using social media, text, email etc to spread the word?
For our Monday mamas with outside babies how is it going? Post pix! :-)
Re: Monday, Monday ticker change!
Upcoming appointments: Thurs I will live at the Dr. 9am EST growth sono/NST followed immediately by weekly appt in an office across the hall. At 1 I get to head back to yet another office in the building for a breast biopsy...will the fun ever end?!
Questions/symptoms: Really bad carpal in both hands. I wake up with claw hands (when I sleep, that is)
GTKY: Will you be sending traditional (paper) birth announcements or using social media, text, email etc to spread the word?
I will be doing a mix as well. Text /social media to close friends and fam. Followed by paper announcements after her newborn shoot. Anyone see any good deals out there to have them made?
Upcoming appointments: Tomorrow is my 39 week appointment.
Questions/symptoms: Definitely feeling all those lovely aches that come with being 39 weeks. You know, the cramping and head butts to the cervix that cause you to double over for a second as you're walking. Getting nervous that baby will decide to come in the middle of the night before my dad gets here (the 4th) and then I have no idea what we'll do about DD. Also, I feel like I'm probably the only 39 week pregnant lady who's not in a hurry to meet their baby. I just want to soak up the last days/week(s) of this pregnancy especially since I don't know if it will be my last (I want more kids but DH isn't so sure).
GTKY: Will you be sending traditional (paper) birth announcements or using social media, text, email etc to spread the word? Both. We'll be doing a facebook "baby's here. It's a _____!" post and then send out birth announcement cards once we get professional pics taken.
Pipsqueak born 6/9/14
Upcoming appointments: Tomorrow at 8:50 and for once I am going to be checked! Only so they can see if there is any progression before my fluid check on Friday. I don't have any apt past this. Eek
Questions/symptoms: Headbutts to the cervix ughhh! I also have some mild cramping and ummm where the hell this Hemmy came from I am not sure - it showed up and I never even went to the dang bathroom.
GTKY: Will you be sending traditional (paper) birth announcements or using social media, text, email etc to spread the word? We will text and call family and friends. I am sure something will be posted to FB before we have left the hospital but I doubt by us.
@kaysa2 - are your fluid levels high or low? Sorry if you already posted.
@rosebud2587 - I am with you! I don't mind if DS stays put a little longer. This could be and most likely is our last baby. I am also just not ready - stuff to do and I want a little more time with DD as only little baby. I can't believe there are going to be two of them to take care of . . . I am going to be a hot mess for the first few months. LOL
Upcoming appointments: Friday. Regular weekly appointment.
Questions/symptoms: Last night, I woke up to severe hip pain that radiated across my back. I tried timing the waves of pain, but they seemed pretty irregular and felt slightly like constipation, though I tried going to the bathroom, every half hour from 1:30 to 3:00 pretty much. Managed to get back to sleep and felt more or less fine - though a little off - this morning. Could these have been contractions? Why do they happen? Based on what others are saying on the board, this middle of the night 'false labour' is not uncommon...
GTKY: Will you be sending traditional (paper) birth announcements or using social media, text, email etc to spread the word? We might send a few traditional birth announcements with photos for those whole would appreciate it, but mostly we'll use social media to spread the word. Close family and friends will get a call while I'm still in the hospital.
DD1: June 2014 - VBM4lyfe
DD2: October 2016
DC3: coming May 2019
Upcoming appointments: I see a midwife this Thursday.
Questions/symptoms: monster feet. I have some aches in my sides and a lot of BH contractions.
GTKY: Will you be sending traditional (paper) birth announcements or using social media, text, email etc to spread the word?
I will do both. I won't be able to resist introducing her on my Facebook. Then I'm getting professional newborn photos taken a few days after her birth and I plan to use those when I mail out her formal birth announcements. can't wait!
She can stay in until her due date, I'm cool with that. Besides, I still have a rocking chair and a crib to sort out (way to wait until the last minute, right?) I'm getting anxious to meet her but I'll have the rest of my life to be with her.
DD1: June 2014 - VBM4lyfe
DD2: October 2016
DC3: coming May 2019
Weeks/fruit: 39 - watermelon
Upcoming appointments: Weekly appt. is on Wed. I'm pretty sure my Dr. is going to discuss inducing. I am terrified of being induced.
Questions/symptoms: I think I've had some mild BH contractions but no real signs of labor starting so I'm starting to think that inducing is going to be reality.
GTKY: Will you be sending traditional (paper) birth announcements or using social media, text, email etc to spread the word? Both - some people really want to know right away and are already bugging me daily if she's here so I feel obligated to text and post on FB. I also purchased a groupon for a photo session which includes digital images so I'll use those to make a traditional announcement. I'll probably use Shutterfly since I received a giftcard when I registered at Buy Buy Baby but I'll also check out Walmart Photo Center and Costco Photo Center and go with whoever has the best deal.
Upcoming appointments: Friday weekly
Questions/symptoms: NBR, worst ear pain of my life due to congestion. May go to ER. Desperate.
GTKY: Will you be sending traditional (paper) birth announcements or using social media, text, email etc to spread the word? Prob a fb post, traditional if I get my act together.
Upcoming appointments: Wednesday. My doc is on vacation until my due date, so we'll be meeting someone else for this appointment.
Questions/symptoms: My cerclage was removed almost two weeks ago, and no dilation yet. I'm having occasional menstrual-type cramping, but I just want her here already! Four years ago tomorrow is when I got the BFP with my son, a micro-preemie that passed away, and today I broke down...I feel like I've been waiting four years to hold this baby.
