Because I'm so behind the eight ball. Here's the reader's digest version:
Went in for a routine appointment on Thurs the 22nd. My BP was high and I was really starting to swell up in the extremities. I told OB I hadn't been feeling well the last few days. I was set up for an on the spot NST. Baby was fine but even after resting for over a half hour, my BP was still high. OB then told me we just earned an early delivery date. I was thinking a weekend early, not the next day. Hubs was on his way home from CO when I got to call him and say "ready to have a baby tomorrow". He made it home in record time!

Got to the hospital and all checked in with my IV ready for the induction to start. OB came in to recheck my cervix and break my water when she said there was no head down there anymore. They tried turning her. Which really sucks and hurts like hell. Got her a quarter of the way back down. So we tried walking to see if she would turn. She did turn but she put her head even more up in my ribs than before!
C-section was set and at 12:38pm on 5/23, McKinley Jaye (MJ) entered the world feet first.
Her dad said feet first was not the way people make their entrances. I countered that the bad asses in movies enter feet first when they kick down/in doors. So she may be a handful when she gets older.
After a big weight loss and some initial nursing problems, we are now off and running. She has gained back about 8% of her 12% weight loss and is nursing much better now.
And because I'm so late, I've attached extra pics of Ms. MJ ;)
