Probably a dumb question re: BM freezing

I did my first pump today and I put it in a freezer bag for later use--the think is, I totally spaced out and put it directly into the freezer instead of putting it the fridge for 2 hours like I was supposed to first--it is only 2 oz...should I toss it or is it still fine?? TIA--

I know it's probably a dumb question, but it's all new to me!

You don't have to refrigerate first, all my BM (and I froze a ton when my little one was in the NICU) went straight into the freezer, and that's how the nurses told me to do it.

ditto here! Mine goes straight to the freezer. I've never heard of the 2 hour refrigerate thing.
