I have a cold too! My eyes are almost swollen shut...my head feels like it's on another planet...ugh

The new HR person started today. The position I was told I couldn't interview for, even though I have all the qualifications including the PHR class. Good news is a I have an interview for a HR manager with another company on Wednesday.

I am so unmotivated today. DH left for a short work trip, but it always stresses me out. I just want to be at the pool.

20 days left of school....I can do this!

And why are finals on the 18th and the last day of school on the 27th! How the hell can I entertain them without having their grades to hang over their head!

My house will never be clean in time for Js bday party the 14th and I'm the only one cleaning it. I'm about to go crazy on some people living in this house. And I smashed my thumb in the car door. Not loving this day much.

My MIL. She watches DS two days a week while I'm at work (I'm very grateful and realize how lucky we are that she's able to do that). However, she cannot keep his schedule. I've always had her write down his nap times and eating times so I know how his day went. I've talked to her and DH has talked to her and it hasn't done any good. She's constantly putting him down for a nap before it's nap time. No one else has this issue (me, DH, my parents, etc) so I have no idea what the problem is. I dread the days he's with her because I know he's going to be cranky when I get home.

@smpeachey so frustrating! She watches him at my house and follows him around everywhere instead of letting him do his own thing every now and then. Anywhere that he can go is baby proof so she doesn't need to worry about him getting into something. I think she just gets bored trying to entertain him and decides to put him down.

So my day went like this:

Went out to my car to go to work his morning and found that it had been hit while it was parked overnight. No note, nothing. Turns out the guy who hit it was driving a Budget truck and told some lady that he was the one who hit it and he's moving into the townhouses next to my building of townhouses. I got you, you bastard!! Who doesn't leave a note but tells a neighbor that he hit a car? Dumbarse

The pediatrician office I fired for billing issues and general rudeness turned my account over to collections even though both the doc office and my insurance say the bills are paid. So I spent 45 minutes standing there while the admin called the insurance company. This is the same admin who called back in April and determined at that time the bill was paid but evidently never entered it into the system. That is supposedly resolved now but only if the admin takes the time to "dig around in some boxes to find the check payment info" so she can enter it in the system which is the step she clearly omitted last time.

Got home this evening and B is sick for the first time in his short little life. Fever and threw up his dinner (all over MIL...score!). Went down for bed easily, but I don't expect a good night.

I have all the signs of AF coming back for the first time since I got pregnant with B.

Finally I have some 67 page business continuity plan due on Friday that I haven't started because I just found out about it. (Thanks, boss, for leaving this for me while you're off in Germany on vaca for two weeks.)

Oh and it's the busy season (last month of my company's fiscal year) so I'll be dirty lurking until things slow down in mid to late July.

That's crazy! We finish with finals tomorrow and just teachers have to come in Wednesday and then Summer! I wouldn't want to have an extra week and a half after finals at all!

I am one of those crazy @$$ teachers that signed up to teach summer school until the end of June.

I too am an HR person (when I'm working). We should be friendsies. I hope you get the other job!
