Transition to stroller seat

At about what age did you transition your baby to a stroller?  I have the Bugaboo Buffalo and was wondering when I can swap the bassinet for the seat.  The seat can be positioned facing me or facing outward (I would have it facing me at first).  It can also recline.  My son is 3 months old and can hold his head up.

    I have a Buffalo too...we switched to the seat at the beginning if this month...DS just turned 4mo last week, he seemed to like it!

    Okay, great!  Thank you so much.  

    Bugaboo just came out with the new full sun canopies so I'm thinking about purchasing that.

    I think most stroller manuals suggest 6 months to ensure proper head support.
