SS- I just trimmed his bangs a couple times to get them out of his eyes, I left the rest alone.

  • I have a baldy. At the rate we're going he'll probably be 3 before he has enough hair to cut!

  • I said yes, but it was just a trim to get the hair out of his eyes.

He has the weirdest hair growth. He has no hair where his helmet rubs him, and then the other side is thin and long. Basically, he has the hair of an 80 year old. I have contemplated cutting the one side so it isn't so scraggly but you only notice when his helmet is off, which isn't often.

Any idea how much longer he'll have the helmet?

I think the helmet contributed to Dashiell's weird hair growth. He had rubbed spots too It was very long around his ears and stuck out of the helmet. It's much thicker on top where the hole was.

We had his three month follow up two weeks ago. He has improved but he's still 12mm asymmetrical. Since that is still severe and he still has his soft spot, well continue with helmet therapy and reevaluate every three weeks at his appts. So, indefinitely, or until he figures out how to pull it off.

That is weird. The lady at the place where we got our helmet said that helmets help with hair growth since there is not rubbed spot. DD hair grew so much when she wore her helmet. All the places that did not have hair filled it.

Good luck with the helmet. DD still has a spot where her head is flat but the helmet helped so much. You can do it.
  • Nope.
Hair is long enough for a spourt on her head but not long for a ponytail.

  • Not yet! He barely has anything to cut. I'm hoping it grows in!
  • He had one about six weeks ago. He needs another. He's looking pretty shaggy.

  • We are pretty slick over here. I'm with pp, at this rate we won't even be contemplating ponytails until she is 4 or so. Maybe in time for school
  • The user and all related content has been deleted.
  • He has lots of hair but I can't do it. I've trimmed what DH calls "smeagol" hairs that were way longer than the rest and looked weird but that doesn't count.

  • No haircut yet but Nico is getting a party in the back so i will need to trim it soon!
  • I've trimmed her bangs to keep them out of her eyes, and around her ears a couple times while she napped on me.  Gonna do it again Tues.

Not sure what we'd cut. This is him yesterday. And my 3 yr 3mo old DD actually still has never had a cut.

  • This just made me think of the video a new fucking haircut. Hahahaha. And no were no where close.
  • Yes, my son had one at 9 months & needs another. My 3 & a half year old daughter had her first haircut this past spring.
  • She still only has fuzz!

  • First haircut (mostly a trim over his ears and getting the long strands off his forehead) :x

  • No hair cut yet. She probably could use a bang trim, but I just push it over to the side. If it would grow in a little thicker I could just pin it back with a barrette and call it a day. I'm guessing she won't need an official hair cut until ~18 mo.
