GoT 6/1, episode 8

Well holy fuck, GoT...Beetle crusher, indeed.

I thought it was a good episode. Lots of characters, lots of plot movement. I loved Arya and Hound at the Vale. His face and her laugh were dead on!

    Most intense scene I can remember on tv!!

    Loved Arya's laugh and the look on the hound's face.

    Great episode!

    Omg. Omg. Omg. I kept screaming at the tv..."kill him already, do it now!" But he didn't...ugh...that was so gruesome. And tyrion cant die! He's my fave!

    I was glad Sansa finally grew a pair. Loved the hound & Arya at the gate. The ending, gruesome-wise reminded me of Sons of Anarchy. Just the "whhhhaaat?" Factor

    Oberyn earned his name the viper. He was pretty badass in the fight.... wish he wasn't so obsessed with the confession.

    Further observations...

    The battle scene was very well done. As soon as The Mountain was down and O kept walking around, I knew it wasn't going to end well. I was shaking my head and saying, "don't turn your back to him!!!"

    I just can't imagine that Tyrion is going to die. Can he argue that since The Moutain died, too, that he should be let go...?

    Who sent RB's pardon of Jorah to Meereen...? Varys? Maybe Jorah stopped reporting back to him? It seemed to come out of nowhere.

    I know they are super minor characters, but I liked Grey Worm and Missandei. She keeps asking him about memories before being unsullied, though...I wonder if that's a dropped hint.

    I still hate Ramsey and Theon.

    I think it had the stamp of the Hand on it, so I assumed it was Tywin. I think he wants to separate Dany and Jorah. Although the dating of it being a year old confused me a little.

    That was intense.  To put it mildly.  

    I have not read the books, so I actually thought Oberyn might win! Until he dawdled with the kill shot, that is.  Dayum.  I was watching it on the treadmill and my daughter was all, "Why did you just say, "Ahhhhh!", Mommy?"  

    Tyrion MUST be freed another way.  He simply must.
