Anyone not bleed after D&C?

I've been reading through some post and it sounds like a lot of you bled after your D&C.

I started spotting heavily on 12/17 and on 12/21 we found out that the baby was still alive but I had a subchorionic hematoma. I bled on and off all week and then on 12/26 we found out that the baby no longer had a heartbeat. The bleeding changed from watery, bright red to almost black and tarry over the weekend and I had my D&C on 12/29 (yesterday). So basically I bled on and off continuously since 12/17.

Since my D&C yesterday, I have completely stopped spotting or bleeding. Absolutely nothing. I'm sort of suprised b/c it seems like most girls here continued to bleed.

Am I the only one who didn't have any bleeding post D&C? is this normal?

    I had hardly any bleeding after my first d&c.  This time was different, though.  I think everyone's experience is a little different, but it is not abnormal to not bleed, so don't worry!

    BTW, the bleeding after a d&c can be erratic - you can go a week w/o bleeding and then suddenly bleed.  So you may not be out of the woods yet, so to speak....  But I hope you are so you can start to heal.  Good luck, and I'm sorry for your loss.

    thanks, Anna. That's good to know! I haven't spoken to my RE since my D&C, so I didn't know what to expect. Thanks so much for responding.

    I had very minimal spotting (and some days not even that) after my d&e but about 5 or 6 days later I started passing some pretty big clots. I hope you don't have that happen but I'd probably wear a pad for a week or so just to be safe.?

    yikes. I'm glad I asked! ok, I'll be keeping a pad on for the next couple of weeks. thanks!

    I had bleeding the day after, that's about all. I spotted for a few days, but I didn't pass any clots, and I haven't had any bleeding since.

    mine slowed down alot after wards, i only bled for about 1 day after

    I had very very slight bleeding...and it was never red, just the gross brown stuff.  I only wore a pad for about 3 days.  Hope this helps.

    i had no bleeding or cramps after my d&c, but then a week later i started spotting (not much, but enough to need a pantyliner) for about 4-5 days.
