Oh my gosh, we're moving!

Well here's a little curveball from life :) Our lease is up for renewal end August, and the amount our building asked for is just too much for us to justify staying in Manhattan. So in a rather whirlwind 48 hours, I toured apartments on Long Island, and after nearly a decade, MH and I will leave the city and become commuters but... we'll get a lot more apartment for a lot less money about 30 minutes outside the city.

Here's the fun part. Our moving date is August 26, which means this LO will be anywhere from 1 month to 2 weeks old. Oh boy!

    We just moved last weekend, so I feel for you! It sounds like it will work out for the best for your family though so that's all that matters. Congrats and good luck :)

    We will be moving 3 weeks before my due date. I just hate that we haven't set up a room yet

    We are moving 6 weeks before my due date. It is going to be crazy and stressful, but totally worth it :)

    My due date is August 28th, and our lease is up then too, and we will be moving around that time, so I totally get it. I just wish we could set up the nursery already.

    Try to stay organized.  The baby will probably sleep through most of it.  You'll be fine.  Good luck!

    Thanks for the well wishes everyone! Glad to know I'm not the only one in the moving boat, either a few weeks before or a few weeks after these babies arrive. Somehow we'll all make it through :)

    It sounds like your move will be a good one. My husband is Army and his command ends September 15th, so we will be moving with a 2-3 week old as well. We should find out where we will be moving this week!

    Where on Long Island are you moving to? I have family in Hicksville and Comack.
