Cloth Diapering

Airplane Diaper?

Man... I went away for a weekend, and I feel like I missed SO MUCH!

But now I'm back, and the first time I put G in his beloved (by him and me) Grovia Airplane diaper, I found that it has (apparently) completely delaminated. The entire diaper was soaked through when I changed him.

Now, this brings up two questions. 1) This in conjunction with the fact that my elastics seem to wear out WAY faster than is normal. I'm wondering if my hot water heater is turned up too high? Should I just start washing things on warm instead? 2) I NEED another airplane diaper (preferably a Grovia shell). Does anyone have one for sale or trade (I have things...)? Or do you know of cute airplane diapers (I know there's a blueberry minky one...)? Bonus points if it's still in production.

Re: Airplane Diaper?

  • I do have an airplane Grovia AIO, but I'm reluctant to part with it, since my Simplex are fitting kinda wonky right now.

I'll stop by my neighborhood baby boutique. They have a basket full of covers and Grovia is usually well-represented. Maybe I can find one for you?

  • Someone has a minky blueberry airplane on "the cloth diaper club" on Facebook for 22. May be the same person as on diaper swapper idk. Too pricey for me but as I said before I'm cheap when it comes to used. Very cute, though!

  • I have the Grovia airplanes in a NB AIO, but I guess that doesn't really help if it's for G.

  • I can see if my friend who has the store has one. Some things just don't sell quick enough and are hidden in her stockpile.

  • I have the drift print for sale, but it's a OS AIO.

  • Thanks everyone :) I'm really looking for the old airplanes (although drift is super cute!). I'm also pretty sure I won't be buying more Grovia AIOs. I LOvE their hybrids, but the AIOs take too long to dry for us :/
There was a Blueberry minky airplane in Itsy Bitsy Bums' preloved stocking last time, but I was too cheap to pay $21 for a used pocket (clearly I'm not the only one ;) )
There's a local girl selling the airplane Grovia shell, but it's aplix. I'm thinking I'll probably try to get it, though.

They do the $5 snap conversions. I need to send 3 in, I had one done and t looks perfect.
Thanks @Chickypoo2468 ! I was wondering if it would be worth it :)
