Finally responded to Progestrone to bring on AF...NOW WHAT?

Hello all! I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far. I have a question...we are still in the testing phase of this whole journey. I didn't respond to the first round of progesterone so the dr gave me a stronger medication because I needed to have AF before they could do the HSG test. AF has paid a visit. HSG is scheduled for next Friday then we meet with the dr to go over all the test results (SA, B/W, HSG, ECT). My question to you guys is...if all results are well, how long will I have to wait to actually start treatment? I have PCOS so I my cycles are any where from 40-90 days long... Will he put me on clomid right away? Will I have to re do the progesterone? Would you recommend jumping right in to IUI? What has been your experiences?

Also, how can I add the treatment history/personal info at the end of my responses?

Me: 26 (IC/PCOS-2000mg of Metformin daily)

June 2014- HSG=clear

DH: 27 (SA results were great minus the slightly low morphology)
Started dating DH in 2002 at 14 years old
Married on 03.01.2014
Officially TTC since April 2014 
January 2013- Surprise BFP, m/c at 6 weeks, D&C 2 Weeks later
April 2014- First RE appointment
July 2014- IUI#1-Canx due to scar tissue and polyps. TI with the help of Ovidrel. BFN

August 2014- Hysteroscopy to remove scar tissue and polyp

September 2014- IUI #1.1-100mg Clomid, Ovideral, 11.5 million swimmers=BFP

EDD-6/3/15- Our sweet baby Ryan was born on 1/6/15 and is in the arms of an Angel

Dx with IC on 1/6/15

    Hi I also have PCOS and after my HSG we met with the RE around cycle day 17 to discuss all the results. I had started using OPKs and temping just in case To see if I had ovulated by the appointment. I didnt (which was confirmed by bloodwork) so they gave me a prescription for Provera. If I had ovulated, they would have just let me finish the cycle naturally. Just finished that up and will start Clomid this cycle. Good luck with the upcoming HSG and appointment!

    2 cycles Clomid 50 mg + Ovidrel + TI

    1 cycle Clomid 50 mg + TI - no response stair-stepped to Clomid 75 mg + Ovidrel + TI

    1 cycle Letrozole 7.5 mg + 150 mg Follistim + Ovidrel + TI

    1 cycle Letrozole 7.5 mg + 150 mg Folistim + Ovidrel + IUI

    1 cycle Letrozole 7.5 mg + 150 mg Follistim  - no response, repeated Letrozole 7.5 mg + 150 mg Follistim + Ovidrel + IUI = success! 12/2014

    Beta 1 - 15 dpiui, 324, Beta 2 - 17 dpiui 750. Twins!!

    To add a signature (well this is what works when I'm on my laptop), click the head and shoulders silhouette near the top right of the page, then choose Preferences, then choose SIgnature Settings. Anything you add and then save *should* show up in the signature area, although after a dozen tries I still can't get a ticker to show up!

    I also have pcos. But my AF was like never ending (like 50 days was my longest). ( I am one of the lucky few) I had to take BCP to stop AF, then she never showed up again (after the withdraw bleed) I had my HSG then waited and waited for AF finally started Provera to bring it on. I then started Clomid. No Luck 1st cycle did OPK like every  day and only got 1 false pos (ink runs) Had beta to make sure (even though I was like I never o'd) On cycle day I think 36. Then I started Provera again followed by clomid this time I got a light pos on cd 16 and then a really dark one on 17 (tested it 3 times to make sure not false lol 2 wondfo and a CBE digi). SO after that long explaining (I got off on a tangent) I went right into Clomid. I am doing this because its so early in our medicated phase that Its the cheapest to start as we are mostly OOP.

    8/14 Plan of action! Moved up to 1500mg Metformin, Femara 3-7 (Trigger canceled due to not big enough follies and holiday weekend) (BFN)

    Well I hope that AF decides to become a littler nicer to us both. She comes and goes every few months for me... stays any where from 3-7 days then I don't see or hear from her for 6 months... I just started metformin 2000mg a day. Ive read that this can a help with regulating your cycle...we shall see. I just hate the waiting game...

    I also have PCOS and am on my second round of clomid. My first one I used opks and thought I had a positive on cd 15 but I didnt and stopped testing after that, she was about to put me on progrsterone again when af showed up but my cycle was 42 days long so I o'd later than expected. With this being said I had my hsg scheduled but had ro reschedule but I was started on my treatment right away so I guess it juat depends but good luck!!

    I have been on Metformin a year (500x2 daily) It really as far as I can tell has not made any difference for me.
