I left with 15 boxes of cat food 15!? (They're boxes of 3... But they were only $.85!), a new collar for Effie, some air freshener, some downy unstoppables, toilet wand refills and a futon... Most random trip ever!
Yes yes yes! This always happens at target and Costco for me! Last week I needed cat litter (I can only find the new light weight one there) and a pair a work jeans...left with those two items along with such items as: slippers, socks, new cat scratcher, two workout shirts, towels...etc...
(edit:added stuff)
I went grocery shopping Wednesday and left with 2 new workout pants and 3 shirts... I haven't been to the gym in weeks
Since I work there I don't get pulled into it. I only buy either what I need at the end of a shift (groceries usually) OR if there is a really, really good deal. Yesterday for one day only there was cartwheel for 40% off Mens clothing plus my employee discount and red card discount, I got 3 shirts for dh originally $53 before tax, got them for $29 after tax.
@jcar2 the cartwheel all has definitely gotten me into some trouble lately... That and the fact my car fits large items... We got a new area rug 2 weeks ago

I did a target trip to look for something in the dollar bin section for my sister on Monday. I left with two large white serving trays, a skirt, a tank top, 2 outdoor pillows, 4 pool noodles, some garland, and the dollar bucket I went in there for. But there is something therapeutic about it.
Agreed! Something therapeutic for sure! I could walk around for hours just putting things in my cart and if feel way better...
::old greys reference:: Like on greys anatomy when Christina went to the dollar store after Meredith almost drowned...
We finally had Target open up here last winter, and I was so excited because I remembered what it was like when I was in Florida. Unfortunately, it's totally not the same! The selection sucks, and it's so expensive! I almost cried leaving there the first time.

Costco always does me in. I go in there for water and milk and wind up spending $200. My H works there so it is even worse because he comes home with random shit that was marked down because "well they marked it down to half the price." Almost everything in our house is from Costco. We have a couch, TVs, rugs, sheets, some furniture and the list goes on... Lol

Did you even need a futon lol. It is somehow physically impossible to leave that store for under $100. Go in for tampons, come out with $100 of stuff. Although these days it's more like $150... Go in for OPKs and hpts... But I always come home convinced I need everything I bought! Even MH can't find anything I should return lol. Damn you Target!!!

I miss Target! It's one of my first stops when I am back home. I usually leave there with an obscene amount of stuff . . . and half of it I didn't even know I needed
