im 23 weeks and my daughter loves swimming but im hesitant about getting a swim suit cause i just feel it would show to much but dont want to miss out on the fun stuff this summer
Man if I could find a cheap bikini top that would fit my newly expanded bust, you best believe id be wearing it all summer.
gawd. I tried on one of my old tops... and they didn't even cover my newly ginormous nips/aereola. I didn't realize how much bigger the had gotten until that moment.

My life. I realized my bras were tight so I went to try on new ones and they're like "oh you need a fitting?" So I thought "why not?" And then realized I went from Cs to DDDs and nearly peed myself.
I've also bought target sports bras in the past to use as a swim top, since my ta-tas are larger than life. I just wear a swim bottom I already have with them. Cheap and comfy!

I bought a top at old navy and shorts bottoms at target. It's a regular 2 pc and I wore it to the Disney Resort this weekend. I figure this may be the last time I can wear one without having stretch marks. And I'm proud of my belly so I'm going to show it off.
Do it! I personally hate swimming but love sitting by the pool soaking up the sun but if I ever did want to swim I would get in a suit no problem. I wish I was brave like the celebrities I see wearing the bikinis pregnant .
Oh hell yes girl!! Go get yourself a suit and splash splash away...no denying water fun and that's an order!
I just bought these two at Target...two tankini tops and one pair of black bottoms...all are 10% off in store FYI. They were like $24 for each top before discount.
I'm waaaaay squishier & a whole lot rounder but seriously...who gives a hoot!?! I'm gonna swim darn it!
Sorry if it posted pics twice...cell being a pain in my arse.
Love it! I got the same black tankini top and just wore them with a purple or turquoise bottom that I already had. I feel like I could wear it as a regular cute top for going out too! I just might whenever we have a heat wave
Totally acceptable. I've been rocking a 2 piece and no one has said anything bad (that I know of) -- was a little body conscious at first but heck, this is the time when you can put on a bathing suit and it's acceptable (and cute!) for us to have a belly. Just remember the sunscreen
thanks for all the help i know what to do this week go swim suit shoppin and hey everyone likes shoppin right. im thinkin maybe green or pink.... poka dots even ... i feel a lot better. im not gonna miss out on mine and my daughters favorite thing to do just cause im pregers.thanks again and congrats to all the mommies.....
After I had a swimsuit meltdown before DH and I went to Destin for a weekend with my work, he bought me 3 suits online by Preggo. Really cute options, great quality, and they understand the need for supportive bands around the rib cage for the hugemongous ta-tas.
I will happily rock my swimsuit bump allllllllll summer long!
I just bought a new bikini at Old Navy today. Not a maternity suit, not a one piece, not a tankini. A plain old super cute hot pink bikini a size larger than I normally wear.
Yesterday I wore one of my old bikinis to a community pool. No one seemed offended, no one gasped or barfed.
Hahaha I just pictured someone gasping and barfing all at once.
I for one am also aiming for a bikini body....by putting my body...in a bikini
Compound words can be hard. Here is some help for you. Let us know if you need further explanation, I am sure S14 would be happy to provide pictures, diagrams and or additional definitions to help you grasp this difficult concept.
I took both a black halter bikini and a black halter tankini on my babymoon and I can honestly say that I was more comfortable on the beach in the bikini. And I didn't get any weird reactions. I was one of three pregnant women I saw that week at the resort. All three of us were rocking bikinis and none of us were super-skinny ladies either. I say wear what you are most comfortable in.
