pants don't fit??

I'm only 6 weeks n my favorite loose work pants are tight today!? Not tight enough where they're uncomfortable but tight enough where I'm afraid to try on all my normal fitting work pants cuz these r my loose ones...

Re: pants don't fit??

  • I've never tried the bella band, but have heard great things about it.  With my first two, I just used a rubber band to make my pants a little bit looser/stretchier around the middle.  Like this:

  • It could be bloat, or it could be your body preparing for pregnancy. With my first, at about 7-8 weeks I had this horrible tailbone pain that lasted well into my third trimester. At the same time, my pants didn't fit. My stomach was still flat, but my hips were (painfully) spreading. I was in maternity pants by 13 weeks because of it. Maxi skirts are your friend.

So I have never heard of this bellaband.  Does it really hold up your pants ok?  They don't just fall down? ...no childhood memories coming to life??

  • I am hoping to get to the second trimester before needing maternity clothes. So far my work pants are good, but skinny jeans are getting uncomfortable. It's not warm enough for shorts yet but maxi skirts are perfect instead of jeans. I do keep a hair tie handy if I am wearing jeans. Just in case.
  • I used the BeBand with DS, but is always bunched up and felt uncomfortable. This time I am trying the Belly Button band and am liking it a lot more.
