fall and black eye

My LO fell off our kitchen chair and landed on her face.  She's climbed up and down successfully so many times, but this time she lunged to catch her snack cup.  I just missed her.  I feel so bad... nothing worse than seeing her adorable little face with a black eye!!!

    ARNICA is your best friend!! Seriously I can't count how many times it saved me. Its a cream to apply that if used right away prevents bruising or after a bruise takes it away faster. It also helps with pain and soreness. I can remember my oldest took a tumble the day before his 1 year photos, before I even picked him up he had a purple mouse above his eye. I totally over applied the cream (like every 2 hours) & he woke up the next day without a mark. I love it and have made believers out of any of my friends that get it. I even carry a tube in my purse.

    I joke that Milla isn't Milla without an injury on her head/face. Be it a bruise, cut lip, scrape. It's heartbreaking when it's bad though. I hope it heals quickly.

    We got our first black eye tonight :( My little sister told me to use Arnica gel but I didn't know if it was safe for toddlers so I didn't use it! Wishing I did because before I laid him down for bed he was getting quite the shiner. My poor little monkey, I feel so bad!

    Last time that we took DD to the doctor, she had a few bruises on her legs from playing too hard/falling. I was a little worried what he'd think, but he laughed when I started to explain and assured me that she's very normal. It helped.
