Fat Feet Friday

Anyone got the pregnant Kim Kardashian feet like I do?! Flaunt 'em here!

(Ignore my lack of pedicure and random foot rest I found in the office thinking it would help.)

Also hope this thread doesn't bring out any foot fetish freaks! Ha

Ha! I can't take a pucture right now because I'm getting a pedicure... but I sat down and she said - Wow! Swollen, huh?

Uh, yes. Lol. I'd be offended but it feels so good to have them soaked and massaged that idgaf.

I can't post pictures (mobile probs) but my feet look like mini hippos!
  • Oh man. These are my puppies at like 32 weeks. They've gotten SO much worse. But I'm running around right now so I'll update a 38 week pic later

  • Ouch! My feet ache for yours. My feet haven't generally been too swollen with this PG, but my cankles can compete with the best of em! ;)

I can't see pics on my work computer, and can't post a pic of my feet (which are certainly swollen), but I would like to say that I went from a shoe size 6 that I had been my entire adult life, to a 7.5, and I have a feeling I'm going to need to go up to at least an 8 wide after this baby. Same thing happened to my mom. Boo!

    Clomid 50mg + IUI#2 = BFN

    Clomid 100mg + IUI#3 = BFN

    Lupron + Follistim + IVF#1 = 11ER, 10M, 10F, ET of 1 expanded BBA 5-day blast, 2 Frosties. BFP! Beta 10/13 = 264! Beta 10/15 = 702! EDD 6/21/14

  • My feet and ankles have been really swollen the last few days. Typically I can get it to go down a little bit with elevation and a cool house. Last night I couldn't get them to go down no matter what I tried. So that with decreased movement from LO and some regular, though not painful, braxton hicks ended me up in L&D. Thankfully LO was fine and no pre-e!

@MrsRahl‌ I'm going to have to try that, I've gotten to the point where they don't go down completely, even with evelation, and by the end of the day I feel like they're going to burst.
  • MrsRahlMrsRahl member
@thankusweetLordbaby2‌ do it! It has helped me a ton! I just strap ziplocs with ice in them to my feet then move them to my ankles after a while, etc.

  • Totally worth the walk to chipotle! (They'll be 10x's worse by tonight too)

I'm just going to say that that second picture did not register as a foot/heel lol

I know. It freaked my midwife out so much that she had me do a 24 urine collection even though I had no protein and low BP. Came out fine, apparently I just have the feet of a swollen polar bear. Went from a size 8 to barely squeezing into 10.5 flip flops.

Eta: aaaaaah I got ya now. Guess who obviously hasn't seen one of those in awhile. This girl <---

  • This is great! I'm sitting in my car waiting for an unscheduled ultrasound so here ya go! I would RATHER take a walk in the park across the street while I wait, but these feet aren't good for walking right now *sob*
My feet are so monstrous--even flip-flops leave marks. I got this pedicure 2 weeks ago--still looks good! The rest of the foot? *shudder*

@MrsRahl that sounds amazing, come on 5 o'clock!
  • Yes mine were like last week because I was working in the office and can't really put my feet up. My OB started me on bed rest last week and since then my feet are up 22 hour a day. Now My feet are waaaaaay better... Just really wrinkly looking from not being constantly swollen anymore.
  • Lovely pre-e swelling. Clearly I have done a better job keeping up my right foot today than my left. Oops.

  • Sorry it's so dark. This is just the one, that I can reach... Went from size 7.5 pre-pregnancy to having size 10 sandals starting to strain..... So glad to know this is normal, it seemed to happen suddenly one day for me. Normal-ish feet, then BAM, little sausages at the end of my legs....

  • DH added some dents to help show how swollen they are. Still not as bad as the rest of you ladies!
  • Mine are not as bad as some of you. Today not too bad. Worse the other day.

Only flip flops fit me and only a few pairs.

I need to soak them in Epsom salts again. That usually feels so good. Went for a pedicure two weeks ago. Hope to go again before I go on for my section.

My right foot is alway more swollen. Hubby had to cut my toe ring off two weeks ago.

I just got home from my son's swim meet. My feet feel SO tight! I think they got worse from this afternoon. *whimper*
Just to give you an idea, when I'm not 9 months pregnant, I have bony feet.

This is from the last week while

  • Omg I found my tribe!!! The heat here in Singapore makes for some pretty big feet. I'm drinking like 4 L of water a day at that kinda helps. If they are really bad I'm lucky and go for a swim. It's morning for me here but I promise to contribute by th end of the day. I thought yesterday was a good day because I could fit a finger under my Birkenstock strap Lol
  • My calves, ankles and feet are ginormous! Like a PP, my doctor saw them and had me do a full pre-e work up even though my BP is low and no protien in my urine. I have extremely high arches normally, now I'm flat footed. It hurts so bad!

  • Right there with you ladies. Awful looking down and seeing my feet swollen over the sides of my shoes or flip flops.
