Hi all! I'm high risk because of Factor V and MTHFR, so on blood thinners which adds another level of complexity. I've also had cervical surgeries and my doctor is keeping a close eye on my cervix length. It's my first pregnancy.

    1. 10 weeks 3 days
    2. Nothing this week. I'm anxious for my next appointment!
    3. Sleeping all the time, no appetite, lots of dreams, some belly pain - cramping? Growing?
    4. Hm... I really like Emma Stone

@RN536 - I am on Lovenox.  I've had two DVTs before (not pregnancy related), so that in addition to the FVL made my doctor and hematologist agree that I must be on thinners the entire pregnancy. I took baby aspirin between my BFP and the confirmation by ultrasound (about 6 weeks).

  • 1. How far along are you now?10w4d

    2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? I did get a quick HB sono today. Nothing interesting. I did get the panorama test. I will be on edge until I get the results. My OB said if they don't cover it (I am 31) it will cost $495. I think it will be worth it for peace of mind even if they don't cover it, especially considering all the issues in the beginning. Praying for a healthy baby.

    3. How are your symptoms? Still some nausea and tiredness, but not bad.

    4. GTKY: Who is your favorite actor/actress?
I like that lady who played Karen on Will&Grace. I don't know her name, but she cracks me up.
  • I should also mention this is my 1st pregancy. :)

    1. How far along are you now? 11 weeks today!

    2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? Had an appt today, dr has increased my insulin since I stopped taking Metformin.

    3. How are your symptoms? Now that I am off Metformin I am now having the constipation...no fun!

    4. GTKY: Who is your favorite actor/actress? I have always loved Reese Witherspoon. She is so adorable and fun in all movies!!

  • @haleyusf Thanks for the kind thoughts. I got the FISH results back today from my CVS and unfortunately it was bad news. My LO has Trisomy 18 and won't make it. I'm scheduled to go in for the procedure on Thursday. Good luck to all of you. We'll try again once we've been cleared an hopefully we'll have a better outcome on the third try.

  • Hi,

I was hoping not to be high risk this pregnancy, but my doctor says I am. I went into preterm labor with my last pregnancy at 21 weeks(but thankfully with meds/shots/etc I made it to 36 weeks). I also make small babies, so they're gonna watch the weight carefully. I'm hoping for a non-eventful pregnancy this time!

    2.  Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? Not this week! :)
