This is suuuuper late but I've been living in breastfeeding/tongue tie hell for the last little while and mostly bumping mobile...buuuuuuuuuut
HE'S HERE!!!
Beckett Ryan born vaginally 5/10/14 at 13:25
6lbs 14 oz 19 inches long
Delivery was awesome as I delivered at the labor unit where I work, among friends that are like family. DH was amazing the entire time (and still is). My best friend was my labor nurse and I had my favorite CNM deliver me. All I can really remember because I was so tired was them placng him on my chest, and he just looked up at me and I kept saying "I've waited so long for you" x 50. The whole room was very emotional and I couldn't have imagined a better experience to bring my guy into the world.
Everything went very smoothly until about day 3 when we realized my guy had a tongue tie (moderate). Needless to say my nips were destroyed, ended up with mastitis, and eventually got the ped to clip his frenulum. Ever since then it's been smooth sailing. He's eating like a champ. He is now 8.5 lbs--a hungry hippo!
Without further rambling, here is the new love of my life....

Thanks!! I have never heard it used as a girl name, but I don't think there are many rules about that sort of thing these days. I love unisex names.
In fact, I only know of one other Beckett in our town, but our peds office said there are now 12 of them in the practice..... But our town is 140,000 people so def not "popular".
